While two woman were planning the downfall of Li Wei's girlfriend, the said girlfriend was at her desk with a frown from all of the office gossips she heard during the day. Going into Li Wei's office to give him the notes he needs for his afternoon's meeting, Fan MeiLi found her boss calming typing away without a care in the world. Placing the documents on the desk, she gave Li Wei a hard stare and wonder how he could calmly work when the whole country is talking about his life.
Sensing her stare, Li Wei stopped typing and looked up at Fan MeiLi with a question in his glare. ”What?”
”Sir, do you know about all the rumors going around about you?” Fan MeiLi asked
”Is that why you are staring at me instead of working? Of course, I know about the rumors, I was the one who had Mo Han have people spread the word around the city.” Li Wei stated then resumed typing.
Fan MeiLi was very surprised, she believed that it was one of his business partner who spilled the information, but she never thought it was Li Wei himself who spread the word that he had a girlfriend. Letting out a quick chuckle she gave Li Wei an incredible stare, ”Why?”
”Why what?”
”Why did you tell everyone about me?”
”The whole reason why I got you to pretend to be my girlfriend is so I could get unwanted women off my back and at the same time I keep my mother from worrying.”
”Yes I knew all about your plan, but I thought I would have more time than four days.” Fan MeiLi said pacing in front of his desk.
Li Wei finished typing and leaned back in his chair, ”With your skills, I'm positive that you won't be found out unless you wish to be, so rest assured until I publicly announce you to the world you'll have no trouble coming your way.”
Fan MeiLi stopped pacing and looked at Li Wei, ”How long will this go on?”
”Until I don't need you any longer.”
Fan MeiLi let out a sigh, and walked toward the door, just before exiting she looked over her shoulder. ”I agreed to help you but I came back to China to lead a peaceful life and I won't let anyone ruin that for me. With that said, I hope you'll keep your chaotic world away from unless it absolutely necessary.” She said before storming out the office.
