While the rest of China was talking about the drama that happened at the Hansoo group's gala, the Wu family was having their own problems. In twenty-four hours, Wu Corps started to have their investors redraw and the stocks started to fall.

When the chairman of Wu Corps got an emergency call in the middle of the night about the recent changes, he was so upset he had to be taken to the hospital. The heir and current president were up all night trying to figure out who was waging war on their company. Calling in favors and those that he had positive connections with, the president was able to figure out that the Wu family somehow offended the Li family.

Returning home he found the chairman and the family in a heated debate about the downfall of their family company. Seeing his son the chairman motion him over, ”Son, did you figure out how this all started?” The chairman asked.

The president sat down with a downcast face, ”Father I don't understand but it seems we have offended the Li family.”

”What! How is that possible.”

”I don't know, but according to my business partners the Li family made a notice that anyone who works with us would go down the same path.”

”We have always had a positive relationship with the Li family, why now did they decided to see us as enemies.” The chairman said with wide eyes.

”I tried contacting the Li's family head but the refuse to have any contact with us at all.” The president said.

Nancy Wu sat on the sofa just processing all the information she heard, no matter how she tried she couldn't understand why the Li family was against hers. If her family really did lose everything she would lose the power she owns, and her reputation would disappear. The biggest problem would be that she would lose her chance to marry into the Li family.

”I know it might not change anything but let me go and speak with Madam Li, we have a good relationship. I could try to find out what we did to make them angry.” Nancy said with a serious face.

”Do you really think you could get to the bottom of this problem?” The president asked his daughter.

”Don't worry father, I'll try to figure out why we are going through this situation,” Nancy said grabbing her purse.
