5 Meeting Nancy Wu (1/2)
Fan MeiLi was out shopping, she was super happy because she finally landed a good job. She did have her worries about working at such a big company but if she stayed out of trouble she wouldn't draw attention to herself. When she came home she noticed that she needed a new wardrobe, she had a few good clothes but none that would work well in such a grand company. Zhang Jing was nice enough to tell her about the best shopping malls in the city that had great deals.
After shopping for a while she bought some really nice business dresses and a nice workbag and was ready to return home. Just as she was leaving one store she happens to see a beautiful red lace dress in a sale window that called to her. Usually, Fan MeiLi would never waste money on needless pointless personal items but the dress seemed that it should be in her hands.
Going into the store she stared at the dress and the feeling of obtaining it only grew stronger. Without taking her eyes away she got a sales lady attention, ”Miss, this dress is it one of a kind?”
The sales lady saw Fan MeiLi enter the store but was greatly disappointed by seeing her bags, she figured that Fan MeiLi was low-class and couldn't afford anything in the store. She was just about to ask her to leave when Fan MeiLi asked her a question, not wanting to be rude or draw attention she put on a kind face and answered.
”Yes, this dress is the only one in the world and we were the lucky store that is able to sell it. The prize treasure of our store for the month.” The sale lady said with great enthusiasm.
Fan MeiLi could care less about how the sales lady tried to brag about the dress she already had her answers and knew what she wanted. She soon pulled out a card that rarely saw the light of day and handed it to the lady. ”I want this dress, ring it up, the cost doesn't matter.” Fan MeiLi said with a smile as she stared at the dress with happiness.
The sales lady was shocked when she saw the card that was pulled out, it was a limited black card that was only given to a select few. She was so happy that she didn't say anything rude to this customer she might have dug her own grave if she got on the wrong side of her. She quickly ran to ring up the purchase, happy that she made the sale of the limited treasure of the store.
While Fan MeiLi waited for the sales lady to return she heard a loud voice behind her, ”Look at that dress, it would be perfect to draw his attention. I must have it!”
Turning around she saw a pretty young lady with golden brown hair and green eyes pointing at the dress she just bought. When the sales lady return to give Fan MeiLi's card back she saw Nancy Wu the young miss of the Wu family staring at the dress.
With a nervous smile, she walked over to Nancy Wu, ”I'm sorry miss Wu but this dress has already been purchased. We have other great items if you wish to look.” The sales lady said trying to ease the situation.
When Nancy Wu heard the sales lady words and then saw Fan MeiLi standing in front of the dress she smirked. From the looks of the bags, Fan MeiLi was holding she knew that she wasn't anyone important and walked toward her with a cold and noble aura.
