After what seemed like an eternity of walking around the city of Vale, both Neo and Glen finally found the right building to start their first foothold inside of Vale. While they were under Neo's illusion so that they were not visible, they noticed this nice and not too big building not too far away from the center of the city.
It was a good place to start their company while staying low for a while. The place were in a strategic location for them to blend with the surrounding while not seeming suspicious. Pleased with the building, Glen then arranged a meeting with the owner of the place and thoroughly 'convinced' him to allow them to use it for free, at least for a while.
Neo were marveling at how awesome Glen's Sharingan were with star in her eyes. She keep watching from the side at how Glen used his eyes to brainwash the owner to agree to his demand.
”I'm really grateful for your kindness sir, I will be sure to repay you when we have enough Lien to pay you back.” Said a smirking Glen while shaking the owner of the building hand.
They were like an old friend that have been together for all their lives with how they were acting.
”Of course! You don't have to worry about anything, i will take care about everything you need! You just have to wait for my call, and this building is yours to use! Don't worry about the payment, to tell you the truth, I'm quite rich in here so this building is not that useful to me.”
The owner were having a bright expression as he talked cheerfully with Glen like they were some best bud. The man were quite tall with a thick moustache that covered his mouth with it. His skins were a healthy tan with a bulging stomach as he were quite fat.
He seemed to be quite a cunning old fox from his appearance, but thanks to Glen's Sharingan, the man were like an idiot as he keep nodding his head with a wide smile on his face.
”That would be really helpful! Thank you for your trouble sir.” Glen nodded his head with a gleeful expression. He was amused at how the man in front of him were acting.
To tell the truth, Glen didn't know how it would turn out when he used his Sharingan to brainwash the man. But seeing how it works were quite a sight, 'I might get addicted to this! God how easy it is to manipulate people with this eyes!' He thought while smirking so wide that he looked just like a fox himself.
While Glen was having his moment, Neo were watching him with a troubled expression on her face. If one looked carefully, the corner of her lips were twitching as if she was about to smile but having trouble to do so.
Her eyes were blinking quite fast as if she didn't believe the scene in front of her were true. After that, Glen and the owner were signing on a piece of paper to finalize the contract between them. Neo read what was written in the paper to make sure that there is nothing wrong with it.
And again, she was troubled and shocked all together at how ridiculous it is! The contract were nothing but bullshit procedure that benefit no one but Glen. With a stiff smile she then handed the contract to Glen again. She was completely gob smacked at how stupid but awesome situation that was happening in front of her.
After they finished with the contract, both Glen and Neo then walked away with a satisfied smile on their face. Though Neo were smiling quite stiffly with disbelieve plastered on her face.
”Come on, I told you that I can manipulate people, why are you so surprised like this.” Glen groaned as he put his right hand on Neo's shoulder, pulling her close to his chest.
