Qin Yue did not speak anymore, as he lowered his head and started to ponder over this matter.

”Do you think she's sick?” Lin Ling asked tentatively.

Raising his head to look at her, Qin Yue said, ”You suspect that the injuries on her body were not formed naturally, right?”

Lin Ling nodded her head, ”When she came that day, she said that she had slept for a long time, and then she became like this. Su Jingqian and I both felt that it was a little impossible.”

”It is indeed unlikely.” Qin Yue's tone was extremely sure. After seeing so many illnesses, if the injuries on a woman's body were really formed naturally, then her body must have been affected by some sort of disease.

Therefore, there was a high chance that the woman lied. She was indeed beaten up, but she was unwilling to say it out loud. However, she was afraid that others would find out, so she made up such a lie.

It was only Qin Yue and the rest's guesses now, but the next time that woman was here, she would definitely ask her about it. If she was really beaten up by someone and didn't dare to speak the truth, that would be too pitiful.

In the next few days, the special case team did not have anything to do, so Qin Yue stayed at the clinic. The main reason was because he wanted to accompany Lin Ling, and another reason was to wait for that woman to come over.

Three days later, she reappeared. She was still wounded, but this time, her wounds were much more severe than the previous ones.

Seeing her like that, Qin Yue could not bear to continue, so he asked, ”How did you get the wounds on your body done? I'm a doctor, you can't lie to me.”

”Just prescribe some medicine to relieve the pain and speed up the healing process. Don't worry about anything else.” The lady directly said, ignoring Qin Yue's words.

Seeing her like that, Qin Yue became even more anxious. His eyes continuously looked around, afraid that if he told her the truth, he would definitely receive an even more severe punishment, so he didn't dare to say it.

It would have been fine if Qin Yue did not encounter this matter, but now that it did, he could not just ignore it.

Looking at the woman carefully, she looked like she was forty years old and should be married. If she could hit her again and again, and even make her not say anything about him, it was most likely due to his man beating her up.

”You must have been raped by your family.” Qin Yue immediately said it out.

After hearing what Qin Yue said, the lady was obviously startled, her eyes flashed a look of panic, she immediately stood up and walked out.

”I don't want to threaten you, I just want to know what happened. Tell me honestly, I can help you.” Qin Yue said with sincerity.

But the woman shook her head. ”You can't help me. There's no other way.”

”You should tell me the truth.”

The woman didn't say anything as she just sat there with her head lowered. It wasn't that she didn't want to say it, but she couldn't. She knew what kind of regret she would feel if she said it out loud. She would be beaten to death.

Since she had said that it was better to die than to live, she didn't want to die. Even if she was beaten up every day, she could endure it as long as she could live.
