After three layers of absorption, Charles and the fire elemental lord were unable to maintain their bodies, falling into the river. The two were instantly covered by the rapids.

“Impossible! I’m a god! How could I be defeated by you?” Charles shouted in disbelief.

The fire elemental overlord’s situation was even worse.
