Chapter 380 - Li Mu Chen was Involved (1/2)
With the Qi Family's connection, they were able to go enter the airport's security room and go through the footage from a few weeks ago. Fortunately, the footage from the day that Liang Sheng visited Capital City was still in the security's storage.
Through Qi Ming Wei's investigation, they soon found out that Liang Sheng was indeed kidnapped. He was seen entering a quiet corridor and did not come out for a long time until after the elder janitor came to wake him up.
After rewinding the footage for a few hours, they soon found out that Liang Sheng was taken away from the corridor by a man in a hoodie with a wheelchair. His body was covered with a blanket and his face was covered with a baseball cap. Qi Ming Wei spotted the bag that Liang Sheng was carrying with him and decided to follow where the man went to.
All these while, Liang Sheng did not make a slight move and they can only ȧssume that Liang Sheng was drugged.
However, the footage stopped until the man met his friend at the airport's entrance and they soon left with Liang Sheng in a black van. They managed to get the van's plate number and found out that the vehicle was stolen.
Song Yi and Han Yue Xiu who went back to Capital City with Qi Ming Wei had stayed throughout the investigation.
Once they heard that Qi Ming Wei had lost track of Liang Sheng after they entered a black vehicle, Song Yi pulled out his computer. With Han Yue Xiu and a friend's ȧssistance, Song Yi entered into some system and found the footage from hundreds of cameras taken from the traffic CCTV and some private footage from other buildings.
Fortunately, most of the footage from that day can be found and they were able to track down the black van.
”I'm going to pretend that I did not see any of this,” Qi Ming Wei said as he narrowed his eyes towards Song Yi.
Song Yi tilted his lips into a smile and nodded. ”Thank you.”
Qi Ming Wei had always known about the Song's family and their status. However, this was the first time that he knew that the youngest son of Song Tao was capable of doing something like this. It was then that he recalled how Zhang Yu Han had asked his help to resolve something that they found on the dark web forum. Qi Ming Wei had a hunch that Song Yi had something to do with the discovery.
Knowing that they were in a rush, Qi Ming Wei decided not to pursue this matter. He waved his hand and let his men help. The group sat together to observe the screen and trailed after the black van.
With more manpower, it did not take Song Yi a long time to find that the vehicle had entered the hotel just beside the airport. Then, Liang Sheng was seen entering a room in a wheelchair with the two men.
Before their thoughts went wild, a woman, in short, black dress was seen walking along the hallway. Surprisingly, the woman stopped at the room where Liang Sheng had entered and pressed the doorbell.
”Who was that?” Qi Ming Wei asked. ”Get a close up of that woman.”
”Li Mu Chen!” Han Yue Xiu was the first one to recognize her. She had seen Li Mu Chen's hateful face and could recognize this woman from afar. ”That bi—” Her cursing words were left unfinished. Han Yue Xiu realized that she was among good looking guys and knew that she had a reputation to protect.
