Chapter 377 - Everyone Gathered (2/2)

”Zhang Yu Han…” Li Qin Yao called out his name as he walked out of the nursery.

”Hmm?”

”You smell like Li Xue,” Li Qin Yao said. After placing her head on his shoulder, Li Qin Yao realized that her daughter had smeared her saliva on his shoulder and now, her husband had a baby milky scent.

Zhang Yu Han chuckled as he recalled her daughter's habit to smear her saliva on him. ”Li Xue loved to chew on my shoulder. Maybe she has started teething.”

As they reached their bedroom, Zhang Yu Han put his wife down and tucked her to bed. His hands patted on her body in his attempt to coax her to sleep.

”Zhang Yu Han…”

”Hmm?” he paused to kiss her forehead.

Li Qin Yao stared at the man in the dark and her heart skipped a beat. There were too many things that she wanted to say to him, but at this moment, Li Qin Yao found out that there was no word that she can use to convey her thankfulness and feelings for him. She snuggled into his arms and hugged him tightly on his waist. ”I love you.”

A sigh escaped him. Zhang Yu Han leaned to kiss her on the lips and continued to coax her to sleep.

Zhang Yu Han was no longer by her side when she woke up. Li Qin Yao looked up the window and saw that the sun has risen. She looked at her phone on the side table and froze. For a second, Li Qin Yao had this urge to surf the internet for any news and report on the accident. However, just before she reached her phone, Li Qin Yao closed her mind and get off the bed to head over the bathroom.

After freshening up and changing her clothes, Li Qin Yao went over to her daughter's room. However, the little girl was no longer sleeping in her cot.

Li Qin Yao headed downstairs to find her husband and paused as she was half the stairs. A puzzled look appeared on her face when she heard voices coming from the garden. She walked stealthily to the door and stopped upon seeing a group of people having a meal in the garden.

”Yao Yao, you're here!”

Han Yue Xiu was the first to notice her presence. As she called out her friend's name, everyone turned around to look at the person standing beside the door with her eyes wide.

”Why are you guys here?” Li Qin Yao asked. As she looked at everyone in the garden, Li Qin Yao felt her eyes and nose started to sting.

Her mother was carrying her daughter, her paternal grandfather, Li Ren Xin, and everyone from Zhang's family was present. At the side, Han Yue Xiu sat with Song Yi and President Mo Cheng Feng, from MH Group, sat silently with the others.

”They heard that the investigation report will be out today.”

A familiar deep voice came behind her. Li Qin Yao turned around and watched as her husband carrying a tray of drink for everyone. He placed the tray on the table and walked over to his wife.

”Everyone gathered today to offer you their support,” Zhang Yu Han spoke. ”Yao Yao, whatever happened after this, we will be here with you.”
