As Li Qin Yao began to eat her breakfast, she could not help but sensed her husband's gaze on her. She took a small bite at the pastry and raised a brow. ”What's wrong?”

Zhang Yu Han let out a chuckle. ”Nothing. I just thought that this reminded me of the time when I was courting you.”

Li Qin Yao froze and a second later, a smile appeared on her lips as she was reminded of the time when Zhang Yu Han had spent a month with her under the disguise to learn more about property and development business. It was only later that she heard that he had stayed around to court her.

”Mr. Zhang, back then, you keep sending me mixed messages that I don't know whether you are interested in me or not,” Li Qin Yao said and chuckled. ”At one time, I thought you were trying to woo me, and another time, you would keep your distance.”

Zhang Yu Han laughed upon hearing her words.

”Fortunately, you had gathered your courage and asked me to date you,” Li Qin Yao put her cutlery on the side and smiled as she looked at him. ”Or else, I might miss this chance to marry a great guy.”

Zhang Yu Han raised his head and was startled upon meeting her gaze. At this time, his wife's eyes were sparkling with adoration towards him. As their gaze met, Zhang Yu Han felt his heart swelled and he had the urge to lean forward and kiss the girl.

Just as the couple was chatting as if they were back at their dating days, two men walked into the cafe and chatted in a loud voice. From their tone of voice, anyone could guess that they were talking about something major.

Hearing the men's loud voice, Li Qin Yao turned towards their direction and frowned. She was about to ignore them and continued to eat her breakfast, but the men's discussion had caught her attention.
