Chapter 370 - How is My Daughter Mischievous? (1/2)

During her long maternity leave, Li Qin Yao continued to monitor the project development in B City through reports from both Liang Sheng and Xiao Lian Yi.

Fortunately, the little princess was so well behaved whenever Liang Sheng dropped by the house to send his report. As long as she could sense that her mother was near to her, Zhang Li Xue did not mind playing by herself with all the toys that everyone had bought for her.

In her third month, the little princess can now roll over and lay on her stomach for a while and laugh while playing around with the others. Now that she can now laugh and spit bubbles, her frown had become a rare sight, unless if she was in a presence of some strangers, or whenever her father took her away from her mother.

Li Qin Yao left her daughter to play in the cot while she was browsing through the documents that Liang Sheng had brought to her. Now that she was planning to return to work, there were a few things that she needed to check.

The Tourism City had entered its third phase two months ago. The hotel building that Zhang Yu Han had invested in had almost finished and soon, the people from Zhang Group were going to work on the interior. Meanwhile, the amusement park project that QL Group had collaborated to build with MH Group was halfway completed. It was expected that the Tourism City project will be completed by the end of next summer.

Once she was done looking at the paperwork, Li Qin Yao jotted down her signature and reread the documents one last time before she gathered everything and passed it to Liang Sheng.

”You should hand it over to President Li and have him inspected everything,” Li Qin Yao said to Liang Sheng. ”Once the President had approved of everything, we will proceed with the supplier, and the construction may continue.”

Liang Sheng nodded.

A small smile curled on her lips. ”You haven't go back to Capital City and visited your family for months because of me. This time, you should stay in Capital City for a few more days and spent your time with your family.”

”Please don't say that, Mrs. Zhang,” Liang Sheng lowered his head. ”I don't mind staying in B City and work for you. This way, I can escape my mother's nagging about finding a girlfriend.”

Li Qin Yao laughed upon hearing his words.

It was true that Liang Sheng had not gone back to Capital City ever since Li Qin Yao had given birth to her daughter. But mostly, it was because he was trying to avoid meeting Li Mu Chen. Liang Sheng did not know why, but he always had a bad feeling whenever he ran into Li Mu Chen.

”I am planning to return to the office in two weeks,” Li Qin Yao spoke. ”Later, you and Xiao Lian Yi won't be too busy.”

The little girl was kicking at waving around the soft teddy bear in her hand when his father arrived. Sensing a familiar scent, Zhang Li Xue stopped moving before she stared at her father. Then, she started to coo and spewing bubbles at him.

Zhang Yu Han bent down to kiss her forehead and the little girl yelped to protest. Her hands were flailing and her legs were kicking as she continued to speak in something that only she can understand.

Seeing how active she was, Zhang Yu Han then carried her in his embrace before he rained his kisses on her face. The little princess frowned and pouted before she started to make more noise to complain.

Zhang Yu Han pressed his finger at the crease between his princess's brow. ”Zhang Li Xue, you were smiling the first time I carried you in my arms. Why do you put on a frown on your face now? What happened to my beautiful smiling princess?”

Zhang Li Xue put her hand in her mouth before she wiped her hand on her father's shirt, smearing him with her saliva. Satisfied with her work, the little princess lips curled into a smile.

Looking at how she acted, Zhang Yu Han let out a low laugh and pinched at her chubby cheek softly. ”You are clearly like your mother. Look at your mischievous smile. Just like your mother.”

”How is my daughter mischievous? She's very well behaved.” Li Qin Yao smiled as she peeked at her daughter. ”Isn't that right, my little princess?”
