Li Mu Chen frowned. Then, she ran a finger on the man's ċhėst as she looked at him. ”I heard that she had only one guard with her. Don't tell me that the guard had never left her side even for a moment? Weren't your men very capable?”

”Even if that guard left for a few minutes, your cousin was always surrounded by another team. Some of my men were caught by them.”

Hearing his words, Li Mu Chen started to panic.

”Don't worry,” a chuckle escaped him as if he understood her worry. ”They won't be able to find me through those men. But still, that was very dangerous for me.” Shan Zi tilted his head. ”My dear, why are you trying to mess with someone from the Qi's family.”

Li Mu Chen rolled her eyes. ”What Qi family? I just wanted to play a few pranks with my cousin.”

Shan Zi laughed. ”Why do you hate her so much? Your cousin... she seemed like a very nice person.”

”My cousin likes to pretend that she's a nice girl. Don't fall into her trick.”

”Since your cousin had married into Zhang's family, naturally she is now related to Qi's family,” Shan Zi said. ”Don't you know the relationship between the two families? You almost ruin me when you make me involved in your matter.”

Li Mu Chen lowered her gaze. Previously, when her mother was caught and the man her mother was in contact with were caught, Li Mu Chen had heard a few things about the Qi family. Surprisingly, they were someone with a lot of power and influence.

”Li Mu Chen, as an old friend, let me just advise you to forget this prank. They were people who I dare not to offend. If you touch a hair of your cousin and were caught, even I would not dare to help you.” Just as he finished his words, Shan Zi lunged at Li Mu Chen to kiss her lips.

”What are you doing?” Li Mu Chen put her hand on the man's ċhėst and pushed him away.

”My men were caught after trying to help you,” Shan Zi said. ”Don't you think you need to give me some compensation?”

She wanted to push him away again, but seeing the dangerous look on his face, Li Mu Chen knew that she should not reject the man's touch.

Right now, her only way to get close to Li Qin Yao was through Liang Sheng.
