The couple held hands as they entered the house. Once they're inside, Auntie Su appeared from the kitchen and greeted the couple.
Li Qin Yao looked at the elderly woman in surprise. ”Auntie Su, you're here.”
”Yes,” Auntie Su nodded. ”Mr. Zhang invited me to come over and cook. Mrs. Zhang, happy birthday.”
”Thank you.”
”Would you like to eat now? The dishes are almost done,” Auntie Su said.
”Let's have something to eat first,” Zhang Yu Han said. ”Then, I'll take you to walk around the house, alright?”
Li Qin Yao nodded obediently. Then the two of them sat at the dining area and ate happily while chatting and playing around. Once they had finished their meal, Zhang Yu Han then took her on a tour and explained to her about the changes they made. They soon arrived at the baby's room and Li Qin Yao let out a gasp. The wall was painted in soft gray and one side of the wall was pasted with a cute animal print wallpaper.
”This way, we can always match the furniture whether we will be having a boy or a girl,” Zhang Yu Han said. He turned to his wife and raised a brow. ”Do you like it?”
Li Qin Yao walked over to take a good look at the wallpaper and nodded. ”Un. I like it.”
Zhang Yu Han walked over to his wife and gave her a back hug. He rested his chin on her shoulder and spoke, ”Later, let's go and shop for the staff we need, alright?”
Hearing that she can start to buy stuff for their baby, Li Qin Yao was excited.
Zhang Yu Han shifted his hand on her stomach and rested his palm on it.
”Baby, how is it? Do you like your room?” Li Qin Yao asked.
Just as the question escaped her lips, Li Qin Yao felt a light tap coming from the inside of her stomach.
”Hubby, did you feel that?”
Zhang Yu Han shifted his gaze to her stomach and slowly nodded.
”The baby moved.” Li Qin Yao ċȧrėssed her stomach and spoke, ”Baby, try to move again!”
However, at this time, the baby refused to listen to the mother and stay still.
”Is this the first time something like this happened?”
”Un,” Li Qin Yao nodded.
”Is it uncomfortable? Should I call Doctor Qiao and check with her?”
Before her husband could take out his phone, Li Qin Yao had already stopped him. ”No need. Isn't this is normal? Doctor Qiao did mention that we might feel the baby movement at this stage.” Seeing the worry on his face, Li Qin Yao laughed before she tiptoed to kiss his jaw. ”It's fine. Stop worrying so much, alright?”
