Chapter 329 - Handsome Man, Pretty Lady (2/2)
A light smile curled up. Li Qin Yao was fully aware that her husband was worried that she had mentioned visiting the construction site the other day. It was not that she had forgotten her body condition, however, this project was important to her and before the bump on her stomach started to appear more obvious, Li Qin Yao wanted to have a look at the site.
Li Qin Yao was aware that later, she can only let Liang Sheng and Xiao Lian Yi be her eyes and ears and trust that the two of them will help her to keep their eyes on the project.
Because Zhang Yu Han had grabbed a taxi to come to B City, the two of them then took Li Qin Yao's car and headed to the construction site and Liang Sheng brought his car.
It was not difficult to guess that her husband had wanted to spend his time accompanying her once she was done with her site visit.
When they arrived at the project site, Zhang Yu Han helped his wife off the car and before he helped her to put on some protective gear for her. Once his wife was dressed properly, Zhang Yu Han wore the safety helmet and the two of them went with Liang Sheng to the site. Zhang Yu Han was introduced to the site manager and a few other people at the site before they started their tour.
It has been a while since the last time Zhang Yu Han came over to the site. Previously, he had only heard the site progress through his wife. Now that he was walking around the site, Zhang Yu Han watched as his hotel tower had risen tall.
Soon, when the construction was done, he will then have to meet a few people to discuss more on the interior of the hotel. As he continued to listen to the site manager's explanation, Zhang Yu Han then glanced at his wife and saw the unmistakable pride in her face. Seeing her expression, Zhang Yu Han had the urge to kiss her, but can only restrain himself considering the inappropriate place and time.
After walking around the site for a while, Li Qin Yao went to a safer place. The group was looking at the blueprints and looked at the scene before them and exchanged their opinions. Then, Li Qin Yao spoke briefly with Liang Sheng and the site manager and left them with a few instructions.
When Li Qin Yao turned around, she caught her husband staring at her and quickly went over to his side.
Zhang Yu Han quickly took off the safety gear on her body before he led her into the vehicle. ”Are you tired?”
”I'm still alright?” Li Qin Yao smiled when she saw the worried expression on his face. ”Today will be the last time. Later, I will not be able to come over to the site until I give birth. Once we announced that we are expecting, I will delegate more tasks to Liang Sheng and Xiao Lian Yi.”
Zhang Yu Han heaved a helpless sigh as he listened to her. ”Alright. I know. I might not know much about the construction site, but if you need my help, you can just ask.”
”Un,” Li Qin Yao nodded. ”I know. My husband is the best.” Seeing the slight frown on his face, Li Qin Yao began to laugh. ”Hubby, where are you taking me now?”
”You don't need to return to the office?”
”Since I already come out, I won't return to the office,” Li Qin Yao said. A thought crossed her mind and there was a glint of light in her eyes. She put a hand at the back of her head and looked at her husband with a playful, lazy expression. ”Handsome man, if you're free, how about going on a date with me?”
Zhang Yu Han let out a chuckle upon hearing her words. He then turned to look at her with the same playful expression. ”Are you sure you wanted to go on a date with me? Pretty lady, I usually charged per hour and it's not cheap.”
Li Qin Yao stifled her laugh at his answer. ”Don't worry. I'm quite rich. Recently, I came across a lucky charm that brought me good luck and wealth.”
His face turned slightly dark at her answer. Since he could not do anything due to his wife's condition right now, Zhang Yu Han could only extend his hand and pinched her cheek to vent.
