Chapter 315 - Zhang Jings Strict Diet Began Again (1/2)

When Zhang Yu Ying saw her sister-in-law stepped out of the elevator, her eyes grew wide with excitement. The last time she had seen Li Qin Yao was when the newlywed couple was departing to the airport. Once they have returned to Y City, Li Qin Yao had to focus on her work and they were too busy to see each other.

”Sister-in-law!” Zhang Yu Ying leaped forward to give her a tight hug. She had not seen this sister-in-law for a month and was missing her terribly, especially because her brother has been bullying her at work and she had no one to complain to.

Li Qin Yao let out a giggle when she saw Zhang Yu Ying's expression. ”I haven't seen you in a while. Are you well?”

Zhang Yu Ying nodded. ”I heard from Grandfather that you will be joining us for dinner today.”

”Grandfather said that there's a new restaurant that he wanted to try,” Li Qin Yao said.

Of course, knowing that his granddaughter-in-law was a foodie just like him, Zhang Jing would invite her whenever he heard about a good spot to eat.

After the couple had returned from their honeymoon, Zhang Yu Han had always accompanied his grandfather for lunch and monitored his diet. Of course, as his grandson, Zhang Yu Han knew that his grandfather would forget to follow his diet once he was not around. Upon checking with Zhang Yu Ying and Auntie Wu, Zhang Yu Han was able to confirm his suspicion, and thus, Zhang Jing's strict diet began again.

This is one of the reasons why he had invited his granddaughter-in-law to have dinner together. At least, with Li Qin Yao's presence, his grandson would not nag him too much into eating vegetables. His attention would be focusing on his wife and Zhang Jing could use this opportunity to eat a few bit more.

Li Qin Yao looked up and noticed that Zhang Yu Ying had come from the direction of Zhang Yu Han's office. ”Did you just come out of your brother's office?”

Upon hearing the question, Zhang Yu Ying stared at her sister-in-law with aggrieved eyes. ”Sister-in-law, please tell my brother to go easy on me. Ever since he returned from vacation, he has turned himself into a demon, ȧssigning me into a lot of workloads and pointing out mistakes.”

At the thought of how fierce her brother had been towards her these past few weeks, Zhang Yu Ying wanted to cry.

Li Qin Yao could only smile. Although she did not pay much attention to the Zhang Group's business, she had heard a few things regarding their business. According to her husband, Grandfather wanted to let Zhang Yu Ying manage their international hotel once she was ready for it. This was why Zhang Yu Han has been strict towards his sister. Grandfather had wanted her husband to train his sister.

”I will talk to him and let him be a bit lenient to you,” Li Qin Yao said.

Zhang Yu Ying stared at her sister-in-law as if she was her savior. ”Sister-in-law, you're the best! Let me accompany you to my brother's office.”

The two of them walked towards Zhang Yu Han's office and Li Qin Yao stopped by Secretary Tian's table to exchange a brief greeting. Then, she turned around, knocked on the door, and pushed the door to enter.

Just as she stepped one foot into the office, Li Qin Yao felt someone tugging at her wrist, and the door slammed shut.
