Chapter 301 - Her Cute, Drunk Husband Returned! (1/2)

The wedding banquet ended around 5.00 p.m. Surprisingly, the guests do not seem as if they were going to leave just yet. Perhaps because the wedding banquet was held in Zhang's Hotel, everyone thought that it should be alright for them to stay a little bit longer.

Li Qin Yao returned to the honeymoon suite to change her clothes. After wearing her wedding dress for hours, she was starting to get uncomfortable. Han Yue Xiu stayed with her to help her remove the accessories and makeup.

Once Li Qin Yao was sure that she was able to manage the rest, she then sent Han Yue Xiu to rest at one of the rooms in the hotel. As Li Qin Yao's bridesmaid, the Zhang family had allocated one room for her.

However, once Li Qin Yao had walked out of the bathroom in her bathrobe, her husband still has not returned. She looked at the time and frowned before She reached for her phone and dialed her husband's number.

After it rang twice, Zhang Yu Han picked up her call. ”Qin Yao.”

The frown on her face deepened when she heard his voice. It was not hard to tell that Zhang Yu Han had a few more drinks with the boys. ”Where are you?”

”Sorry,” Zhang Yu Han massaged his temple. ”The boys would not let me go just yet. Are you hungry? I'll ask someone to send something for you to eat. You eat first. I'll come back once I can escape.”

Li Qin Yao heaved a sigh in relief. ”As long as you're safe. Don't drink too much, alright?”

”Un.” Zhang Yu Han nodded. ”Wait for me a while. I'll be there soon.”

After speaking a few more words to her husband, Li Qin Yao hung up the phone and laid her body on the large bed. Feeling the soft and comfortable mattress under her, Li Qin Yao suddenly felt very tired. Though she had long known that a wedding can be tiring, she had never expected that it would be this tiring.

Just as she was about to close her eyes, Li Qin Yao heard the doorbell rang. She peeked at the peephole and saw a hotel attendant with a trolley. It was then that she was reminded that her husband had told her that he will send some food to her. With a smile on her face, Li Qin Yao opened the door to let the attendant in. Her stomach grumbled as the aroma of food filled the room.

Once the attendant exited the room, Li Qin Yao looked at the food on the table and decided to pad her stomach with a meat bun. Anyway, she was planning to have a proper meal once her husband had returned.

Now that her stomach was filled, Li Qin Yao sat down on the sofa and watched some dramas on the television as she waited for her husband to return. Without knowing when Li Qin Yao fell asleep…

She was suddenly awakened by the continuous sound of the doorbell. She peeked into the peephole and was surprised upon seeing Wei Jun Hao and Qi Zheng who were supporting her husband in their arms. Quickly, Li Qin Yao swung the door open and looked at Zhang Yu Han with worry.

”Hello,” Wei Jun Hao and Qi Zheng greeted.

”What happened to him?” Li Qin Yao stepped aside to let the men in. Her expression grew anxious at the sight of her unconscious husband.

There was a hint of guilt on Wei Jun Hao's face as he helped his friend into the room, and towards the bed. Once he had laid Zhang Yu Han onto the bed, Wei Jun Hao took a deep breath and wiped his forehead with the hem of his shirt.

”Sorry. I guess, Yu Han drank a little bit too much. The boys would not let him leave until he was drunk. And Yu Han had not rejected the drink every time someone came to toast a drink. He was just too happy whenever someone came to congratulate him. Fortunately, he is an obedient drunk.” Wei Jun Hao heaved a long breath once he finished. ”Will it be alright if I leave him here? Do you need any help?”
