Chapter 294 - Dinner Date (1/2)

The wedding photos were ready in less than a week. When his mother brought the photos to him, Zhang Yu Han was scared that the photographer was going to edit their photos with milky way as the background. Fortunately, there was no such photo at all. Now that he had looked at the photos, Zhang Yu Han began to recognize Brian's talent in photography.

Among the photos that his mother had shown to him, Zhang Yu Han's favorite was the one where he and Li Qin Yao was looking at each other lovingly. Their face was only an inch away and there was a blissful smile as they looked at each other.

”You like this one?” Liu Hui Lan had noticed the way her son was staring at the photo for a long time and knew that it was his most favorite one. ”Coincidentally, Qin Yao also pick the same one.”

”She… liked this one?”

Liu Hui Lan nodded. ”I sent a few photos to her WeChat, and she said this one is her favorite. Then… since both of you like this one, then, I'll use this one for the wedding, alright?”

”We'll do as you suggest.”

Liu Hui Lan smiled gleefully as she kept the photos back into the envelope. But after a while, she paused to take out the photo again. She placed the photo on the table and smiled. ”You should keep this. Get a frame and put it on the table. Then, you can look at the picture whenever you miss her.”

Seeing the way his son silently put the photo just beside his monitor, Liu Hui Lan let out a snort.

”Alright. I'll be going now. Remember to come back home this weekend with Qin Yao, we'll see if there's anything else needed for the wedding,” Liu Hui Lan reminded.

”Un. I know,” Zhang Yu Han nodded. He stood up and sent his mother to the door. Then, he walked over to his table to continue his work. A smile curled on his lips when he looked up only to see their wedding photo beside the monitor.

Suddenly, Zhang Yu Han found that he was unable to continue his work. A thought crossed his mind and Zhang Yu Han hesitated before he pulled at the bottom drawer. He took out the blue velvet box and peeked at the diamond ring inside.

Their wedding date was so close, but he still hasn't given her the proposal that she deserved. Although he had made a plan to propose, the two of them were busy catching up with their work. Anyway, they were planning to take a few days off for their honeymoon.

At the thought that there was no time like the present, Zhang Yu Han clenched his hand at the blue velvet box before he walked out of the office. After leaving his secretary with a few instructions, Zhang Yu Han drove over to see his wife in her office in B City.

When Li Qin Yao saw her husband at the door, she stood up with a confused look on her face. As she approached closer to him, her expression changed and she was smiling at him happily. ”Why are you here?” She pulled him inside her office and tiptoed to kiss his lips.

”I missed you.”

Hearing the voice she liked saying those words made her face blush, and Li Qin Yao giggled happily. Unable to contain the joy bursting throughout her body, Li Qin Yao linked her arms around his neck to give him another peck. ”I missed you too.” Her voice was a whisper.

”Mrs. Zhang, why don't we go on a dinner date?” Zhang Yu Han spontaneously held her waist. ”I already booked a restaurant.”
