Zhang Yu Han placed his hand on top of hers as he buried his nose at the crock of her neck. He took a deep breath and spoke, ”Do you think we should do it again just in case it would heighten the chance for us to have a baby?”

Li Qin Yao giggled when she heard his words. She then turned around to face him and stared at his face with a serious expression for a long time.

”What is it?” Zhang Yu Han combed her hair lazily with his fingers and tuck a few strands of hair behind her ear.

”I know that we have never talked about having a child before,” Li Qin Yao bit her lips as she paused. ”It's just a thought... but what if I cannot conceive a child for you?”

Zhang Yu Han put his arms around her neck to pull her closer to him. Then he kissed her on top of her head. ”At this age, there are a lot of other ways we can try to conceive. But even if that doesn't work, it doesn't matter. We can spend the rest of our life with just the two of us.”

”Would you not be disappointed?”

Zhang Yu Han was quiet for a long time. He stared into her eyes and wonder how he should answer her question. ”It would be a lie if I say no,” he spoke after a while. ”But Qin Yao, I only wanted to have a child if it was with you.” He cupped a hand at her face and rubbed his thumb against her cheek. ”Similarly… would you be disappointed if I cannot give you a child?”

”No.” She quickly answered. ”I too… I only wanted to have a child if it was with you. I only wanted a child that would belong to both of us.”

”Un.” Zhang Yu Han pinched at her nose and smiled. ”Let's not think too much about 'what if' and put pressure on us. If it happens, it happens. We can only work hard at it and let fate decide. Besides... we have only been married for a few months. I don't want to fight for your attention with our future child so soon.” His smile widened. ”Therefore, before we have a child together, please spoil me more.”
