Zhang Jing, who had been silent for a while to observe the situation suddenly coughed dryly. When everyone turned their head on him, Zhang Jing then spoke, ”Let's not start bickering. Zhang Xi, Hui Lan, both of you had just returned. It's a happy occasion.”

Of course, when Liu Hui Lan heard about how the girl that his son had a crush on was a real person and not a fantasy, she was curious and has been looking forward to meeting her daughter-in-law.

Liu Hui Lan's first impression of the Li Qin Yao was that she was so small and adorable. The first time she laid her eyes on the girl, Liu Hui Lan wondered if it would be easy to kidnap her daughter-in-law away because of her petite figure.

”Sorry,” Liu Hui Lan turned to her son and smiled. ”You know very well that we have all been waiting for you to bring a girl back home.” She turned to her daughter-in-law again and patted her hand with amiably. Then, she began to shoot a few questions to get to know her daughter-in-law well.

During this time, Liu Hui Lan could not help but notice the warning glance that her son constantly shot at her.

”Mom, stop interrogating my wife too much,” Zhang Yu Han said after his mother's tenth continuous questions. ”You're going to stress her out.”

”Nonsense,” Liu Hui Lan waved her hand as she shot a displeased look at her son. ”I haven't started any interrogation yet.”

Li Qin Yao could feel her sweat trickling on her back as she heard her mother-in-law's words. The thought that she will be interrogate made her anxious. Subconsciously, Li Qin Yao glanced at her husband to ask for his help.
