Chapter 243 - Her Husbands Big Family (1/2)

When Zhang Yu Han returned to the elders' side, Elder Qi had his arms around his grandfather's shoulder, speaking something. Zhang Yu Han did not have to listen to know what Elder Qi said to his grandfather. Whenever Elder Qi got a little bit tipsy around his grandfather, he would always speak words of gratitude and thanked his grandfather for looking over his late-grandmother until her death.

This was a normal occurrence whenever the two old men meet each other.

Zhang Yu Han exchanged a glance with Qi Ming Wei and walked over to the elders.

”Grandfather, stop drinking too much. It's cold outside. Let's get inside,” Qi Ming Wei tried to coax his grandfather. He took the wine cup away and helped the elderly to stand up.

”Right. Auntie Wu should have done preparing dinner at this time,” Zhang Jing said. ”Brother-in-law, Ming Wei, the two of you should stay around and have dinner together.”

”We shouldn't have to trouble you,” Elder Qi tried to be polite.

”Nonsense. I still haven't introduced you to my granddaughter-in-law,” Zhang Jing said. Before his brother-in-law could say another word of rejection, Zhang Jing has already entered the house to see the dinner preparation.

Zhang Yu Han let out a chuckle at his grandfather's attitude around Elder Qi. Although his grandfather had always said that he did not like Elder Qi, it was obvious that he still cared about the old man.

Seeing that his grandfather had led his guests into the living room, Zhang Yu Han walked over to the kitchen to find his wife. His steps stopped at the entrance as he continued to watch his wife cutting some honeydew. Once in awhile, Li Qin Yao would laugh at what Auntie Wu and his sister's words.

A chuckle escaped his lips when he caught his wife stealing a bite at the honeydew.

The three women turned when they heard his voice.

Zhang Yu Han straightened up and sauntered inside. ”Grandfather invited others to have dinner together. Auntie Wu, is everything ready?”

Auntie Wu looked at the dishes on the kitchen counter and spoke, ”Yes. Everything is ready. I'll bring the food outside.”

”Auntie Wu, I'll help you,” Zhang Yu Ying volunteered.

As the others left the kitchen, Zhang Yu Han walked over to his wife and put his arms around her waist. He watched her steal another bite at the honeydew and chuckled. ”Is it delicious?”

”Un. They're pretty sweet.” Li Qin Yao tilted her head up to meet his gaze and offered a bite from her hand. ”Here, try them.”

However, instead of taking a bite from the fruit on her hand, Zhang Yu Han leaned in to press their lips together. After a few seconds, he had stolen the sweet melon in her mouth.

”Hmm… it is sweet.” Zhang Yu Han smiled mischievously at his wife.

”You…” Li Qin Yao's face turned red when she finally realized what had happened. Quickly, she began to scan for their surroundings. Once she was sure that there was no one else other than the two of them, Li Qin Yao let out a sigh of relief. ”What if someone sees us.”

”What happened? What's wrong with me kissing my wife?” Zhang Yu Han said nonchalantly. Before Li Qin Yao could say another word to reprimand him, Zhang Yu Han leaned in to kiss her again. A low laugh escaped him when he saw his wife's angry look. His hands moved up and down around her waist as if he was trying to pacify her. ”Come outside. Grandfather wanted to introduce you to my granduncle.”
