As it was after office hours, there were a lot of people in the mall. Afraid that someone was going to bump into his petite wife, Zhang Yu Han wrapped his arm on her shoulders, pulling her closer to him.

”What are you looking for?” Zhang Yu Han asked as he bent his head to speak closely to her ears.

Li Qin Yao let out a soft giggle when she felt his ticklish breath on her ear. She tilted up her head to meet his gaze and smiled mysteriously. ”You will know soon.”

Seeing his wife's teasing gaze, Zhang Yu Han had the urge to kiss her lips. But considering that they were both in public, he could only give a light squeeze on her shoulder and a kiss on her forehead.

An elderly couple who happened to walk past them smiled at Li Qin Yao.

She returned the smile and shyly turned her head to bury her face in her husband's ċhėst. She was suddenly reminded of his words not too long ago. It was true that their difference made it easier for him to hide her away from others.

As they arrived at the jewelry store, Li Qin Yao stopped and looked at Zhang Yu Han again.

”You wanted to buy some jewelry?” Zhang Yu Han asked. Although he did not mind accompanying his wife to shop around, Zhang Yu Han could not help but be curious. Perhaps because she worked in her cafe, his wife had this habit of not wearing any jewelry on her hand.

”Un,” Li Qin Yao nodded. A blush crept on her face as she said, ”Zhang Yu Han, let's get our wedding ring.”

Zhang Yu Han was stunned at her words. His gaze fell on their intertwined hands and realized for the first time that the two of them was not wearing a wedding ring on their finger.

Pulling her closer to his embrace, Zhang Yu Han then said, ”Sorry. It was my negligence. I should have bought us wedding rings earlier, but it must have skipped my mind.”

The couple then walked into the store holding hands. An attendant immediately greeted them at the door and introduced them to various styles of rings.

After looking around and a long discussion, the couple chose a set of platinum rings. Although it was slightly expensive, the design was very simple and the style was something that the couple liked.

Zhang Yu Han finally completed the payment after the couple had argued for a while about paying.

His wife has requested to let her pay for half of it. But of course, her request was rejected. Zhang Yu Han had then spent a few minutes to convince her why he should be the one who paid for their rings.

In the end, Li Qin Yao lost their debate and watched with a heavy heart as Zhang Yu Han swiped his card at the counter.

Cradling her face with one hand, Li Qin Yao looked at her husband and a random thought crossed her mind. ”Zhang Yu Han, I have a feeling that if you are an insurance salesman, you would be able to convince me into buying policies from you.”

Zhang Yu Han laughed when he heard her mentioning insurance salesman. He felt as if it has been a long time since he had pretended to be an insurance salesman, but why did his wife still remember this kind of stuff.

”The way you talk can be so convincing,” Li Qin Yao said with a slight pout on her face.

The shop attendant slid a paper bag to both of them with a polite smile on her face. Li Qin Yao took out the ring from the box and reached for Zhang Yu Han's hand to slip the ring on his finger. She stared at the ring on his finger and her lips curved into a satisfied smile.

Zhang Yu Han looked at the ring on his finger with a dazed expression before he did the same. He took her hand in his and slid the ring on her finger. His movement was slow as if he was trying to savor this moment. When the ring reached the end of her finger, Zhang Yu Han lifted his gaze to stare at his wife's eyes.
