When the couple arrived at Li's Residence, Liang Sheng was waiting for them at the entrance. Seeing the couple walking hand in hand, Liang Sheng greeted them both before they entered the house together.

Auntie Han was the one who greeted them at the door. As she was briefed that their young miss will be bringing someone to the mansion, Auntie Han was not surprised upon seeing that Li Qin Yao showed up together with a young, handsome man.

However, the elderly lady's eyes paused at their intertwined hands before she ushered them in.

Before Li Qin Yao could ask Auntie Han about his grandparents' whereabouts, her grandmother, Mu Ling Xi had appeared beside Auntie Han. Her eyes brightened up when she saw her granddaughter and her boyfriend. She ushered everyone in before turning to Liang Sheng and informed him that Chairman Li was waiting for him in the office.

Li Qin Yao exchanged a look with Zhang Yu Han and he nodded at her. ”Go ahead. I'll wait for you here.”

”You're going to meet your grandfather?” Mu Lingxi asked when she noticed the little exchange between the couple. ”Go ahead. I can keep Yu Han a company.”

Li Qin Yao smiled at her grandmother. Then, she looked at Zhang Yu Han again. ”Will you be alright?”

His lips curled into a helpless smile. ”I'm not a little kid.”

Li Qin Yao laughed. ”I'll come down in a bit.” She gave a little squeeze at his hand before she jogged upstairs to find her grandfather.

Mu Ling Xi watched as her granddaughter disappeared from her eyesight and shook her head.

Her granddaughter was already a big girl, but she would still run around the house as if she was a young girl.

Mu Ling Xi led Zhang Yu Han into the living area and instructed Auntie Han to prepare some snacks and tea. The two of them then spent their time chatting while waiting for both Li Qin Yao and Grandfather Li to come down.

Previously, Mu Ling Xi had met with Zhang Yu Han during Li Ming Han's wedding dinner and was quickly smitten with his good look and manners. However, due to the short time, Mu Ling Xi did not have enough time to chat with this young man.

Now that she had the time to be alone with him, Mu Ling Xi did not waste any time to interrogate the boy that her granddaughter had taken a fancy to.

The two of them were chatting warmly when the front door swung open and Li Mu Chen strode in noisily. ”Grandma—” Her words were left unfinished. Li Mu Chen halted her footstep when he saw that familiar face in her grandparent's living room.

Recently, under her mother's instruction, Li Mu Chen has been frequently visiting her grandparents' place. She tried to spend time with the elders and hoped that she can change her grandfather's mind about pulling her off from managing any of QL's projects.

It has been two weeks since she was ȧssigned as Manager Yan's ȧssistant and she hated that she had to listen to that old man's words. Though she came to complain to her mother about her unwillingness to stay under Manager Yan, her mother could not do anything about it.

After all, it was her grandfather who gave the order.

In the end, Li Mu Chen had no choice but to try to soften her grandparents' hearts. So far, her grandmother has been very warm towards her, but her grandfather was still very stubborn.

”Mu Chen, you're here,” Mu Ling Xi's smile stiffened. It has slipped her mind that this granddaughter would come and visit them every day. Suddenly, Mu Ling Xi did not know what to do.

She and her husband had previously agreed to have lunch with Li Qin Yao and Zhang Yu Han. Now that their other granddaughter, Li Mu Chen had shown up, Mu Ling Xi did not know whether she should send this granddaughter back home or not.

Li Mu Chen put on the best smile on her face and turned to Zhang Yu Han. ”Director Zhang, it has been a while since the last time we saw each other. Are you here to visit my grandparents?”

”Mu Chen, you know Director Zhang?” Mu Ling Xi was surprised to see that her granddaughter seemed to know him.
