Chapter 205 - While He was Sleeping (1/2)

After listening to Qi Zheng's instructions on how to look after a sick person, Li Qin Yao walked him to the door. She thanked him for coming to check on Zhang Yu Han and finally closed the door behind her when he left. Then, she took out her phone and texted Zhang Yu Ying of the new development regarding her brother.

She glanced at the time and suddenly realized that it was getting late. Because it was the first time that she has to look after a sick guy, Li Qin Yao has been asking Qi Zheng a lot of questions.

Realizing that she probably won't be able to catch the last train to head home later, Li Qin Yao sent a text to her mother to inform her that she will be staying in Y City for the night.

Anyway, she won't be at ease to leave Zhang Yu Han alone in his apartment. Qi Zheng had reminded her to monitor his temperature every few hours.

She could not call Zhang Yu Ying and ask her to come over. Zhang Yu Ying was staying with Zhang Jing at Zhang's residence. She did not want to alarm their grandfather when Zhang Yu Ying suddenly had to come over to look after her brother.

After making her decision to stay the night and accompany him, Li Qin Yao returned to the master bedroom to check on her boyfriend again.

Zhang Yu Han was sleeping soundly as she approached.

She stood beside the bed and watched his steady breathing. Then, she put a hand on his forehead again to check on his temperature.

Fortunately, his temperature was not as hot as the first time.

Fortunately, Qi Zheng had told her that he was alright and only needed a good rest to recover.

Li Qin Yao crouched down beside the bed and let out a soft sigh as she continued to stare at him.

The eye bags under his eyes were very apparent. It was obvious that he was too tired to the point that his body collapsed. After all, he had to make a trip to M City after he returned from Capital City.

Still… after his flight landed in Y City, he chose to make a trip to B City just to see her.

As the thought crossed her mind, Li Qin Yao had mixed feelings about the situation. She was a bit touched, a bit guilty and a bit angry at Zhang Yu Han.

If she had known that he was unwell, she would not make a plan with him and instead, she will insist for him to rest.

Li Qin Yao ran her fingers on his eyebrow and slowly trailed down to the tip of the nose. She took her time to look at his feature as he was asleep. Although this was not the first time she had shamelessly stared at him, it was the first time that she had observed his sleeping visage.

A smile curved on her lips as she thought of how attractive he looked like at the moment.

As her breath touched his skin, Zhang Yu Han's eyes fluttered and he slowly opened his eyes.

Suddenly, their eyes met.

Li Qin Yao froze as she did not know what to do. Her face gradually warmed at the thought that he had caught her staring at him while he was sleeping. She waited for him to break the silence, but hen merely stared back at her as if he was in a daze.

In truth, Zhang Yu Han was really in a daze.
