”Huh?” Zhang Yu Ying frowned. ”That's strange. My brother would always pick up a phone call. Sister-in-law, hold on for a while. I'll check.”

Li Qin Yao pursed at her lips as she heard Zhang Yu Ying picked up the landline to call her brother. After a few attempts, Zhang Yu Ying could not reach for her brother. After pondering for a while, Zhang Yu Ying decided to call her brother's best friend, Wei Jun Hao.

The last time she saw her brother, he was with Wei Jun Hao to brief their report to Grandfather. Afterward, Wei Jun Hao was the one who sent him back to his apartment.

Fortunately, Wei Jun Hao picked up her phone calls. After checking with Wei Jun Hao about her brother's whereabouts, Zhang Yu Ying then returned to Li Qin Yao.

”Sister-in-law, you're still there?” Zhang Yu Ying asked.

”Un. I'm here.”

”I talked to Brother Jun Hao. He told me that he sent my brother back to his apartment and left after that. Oh right! I just remember something,” Zhang Yu Ying hesitated. ”The last time I saw my brother in the office, I noticed that he had a sore throat. Brother Jun Hao said that he might catch a cold and now he is resting in his apartment. If that was true, that would explain why my brother did not pick up the phone.”

”A cold?”

”Hmm,” Zhang Yu Ying nodded. ”Usually when he had a cold, my brother would choose to sleep and nothing can wake him up.”

Li Qin Yao paused. Hearing Zhang Yu Ying's words only made her worry about him. At least she now knew that Zhang Yu Han was safe. But at the thought of her boyfriend staying at his apartment alone made her heart anxious.

Zhang Yu Ying was about to say that she could ask Wei Jun Hao to check on her brother, but at the thought that she could create a chance for her brother to be alone with her sister-in-law, Zhang Yu Ying changed her mind.

She had long noticed that her brother was already in a bad mood when he returned from M City.

Anyway, it has been a few days since the couple met. Initially, her brother had wanted to meet with her sister-in-law, but because he was unwell, he did not even realize that he had missed his date.

At the thought of acting as her brother's fairy godmother, Zhang Yu Ying lips unknowingly curved into a smile.

”Sister-in-law, if you're worried, you can always visit my brother at his apartment,” Zhang Yu Ying said. ”I am swamped with work. It would be hard for me to check on him and I did not want Grandfather to worry. If you can check on my brother, that would be great.”

”I,” Li Qin Yao hesitated. ”I did not know where his apartment is.”

Although she frequently visited Y City, Zhang Yu Han would always take her back to his grandfather's residence instead of his apartment.

”Don't worry. I'll text you his address and his passcode,” Zhang Yu Ying spoke quickly. ”If he did not come to the door, you can key in his passcode and enter his apartment. I'm worried that my brother might be in deep sleep after taking some medicine.”

”Will that be alright?” Li Qin Yao started to wonder if it would be a good idea to appear at his apartment without notice.

”Of course it will. If it's you, then my brother would be happy if you show up,” Zhang Yu Ying said quickly. ”Anyway, you would not be at ease until you see my brother, right?”

Li Qin Yao pursed her lips at Zhang Yu Ying's words. She weighed her choices and made her decision. ”Alright. Text me his address.”
