As Li Qin Yao walked into the hotel building, the staff who saw her immediately greeted her politely.
Nowadays, almost every staff had recognized her as the Director's girlfriend.
At first, Li Qin Yao was a bit uncomfortable with their extreme friendliness. However, after coming back to the hotel for a few more times, she was slowly getting used to it.
The receptionist who saw her from afar quickly approached and led her to a special elevator.
As usual, Secretary Tian was waiting for her in front of the elevator. Seeing her punctuality, Li Qin Yao could guess that the receptionist must have informed Secretary Tian of her arrival.
”Miss Li, good evening. The Director is waiting for you,” Secretary Tian greeted.
Li Qin Yao nodded. The two of them chatted casually before Secretary Tian left her in front of Zhang Yu Han's office. After knocking the door, Li Qin Yao pushed open the door and sauntered in only after she heard Zhang Yu Han's voice.
Zhang Yu Han lifted his head from the document and smiled when he saw Li Qin Yao.
”Why are you late?” Zhang Yu Han's voice sounded a bit complaining, but the expression on his face showed that he was glad to see her. He stood up from his chair and walked over to his girlfriend. ”Is traffic bad? I told you that I can come over and pick you up after your meeting, but you wouldn't listen.”
”The meeting ended later than expected,” Li Qin Yao said. ”Moreover, aren't you busy helping Grandfather with that project in L City?”
Zhang Yu Han frowned. He had recently found out that his girlfriend and his secretary's relationship was pretty good. Sometimes, Li Qin Yao would ask his secretary to check on his schedule before she made a plan that would include him.
Because he knew that she was afraid of troubling him, Zhang Yu Han could only let her do as she wanted.
”Are you still busy?” Li Qin Yao wrapped her arms around his waist and tilted her head to look at him.
”Hmm… I just need to finish something,” Zhang Yu Han said. ”Then we can go out for dinner and I'll send you back home, alright?”
Before Li Qin Yao could answer, Zhang Yu Han, bent down to kiss her on the forehead, causing her to shrink back a little bit. Because she has been walking to the hotel, Li Qin Yao knew that her forehead must be sweaty.
Li Qin Yao placed a hand on his ċhėst and gave him a little push. ”You should get back to work. Or else, we'll be late for dinner.”
For the sake of going out for dinner with his girlfriend, Zhang Yu Han could only do his work diligently. Moreover, he had promised to accompany Li Qin Yao to go back to Capital City to attend her cousin's wedding soon.
As Zhang Yu Han sat down and dealt with his work, Li Qin Yao sat on her usual spot at the sofa to sent an e-mail to Liang Sheng over the meeting discussion earlier.
Just as Li Qin Yao pressed on the send e-mail buŧŧon, Zhang Yu Han called her name and gestured her to come over. Li Qin Yao stood up and walked over. When she reached by his side, Zhang Yu Han passed a stack of papers at her.
