Li Qin Yao let Zhang Yu Han decide on the place to eat and he took her to a French restaurant in B City.

When he learned that his girlfriend was a foodie and would go cafe hopping when she got the chance,

Zhang Yu Han did some research on some good restaurants for their dates.

Because of its atmosphere, the French restaurant was quite popular, especially among young couples. The greenery and flower garden around the restaurant gave a feeling as if they were dining in a small garden.

Just as they entered the restaurant, Li Qin Yao could see a few couples taking photos here and there. The two of them were seated at a quiet corner of the restaurant as they both enjoyed their meals.

Seeing that Li Qin Yao's appetite was, as usual, Zhang Yu Han was relieved. He was worried that after meeting Chen Hao and recalled their past relationship, his girlfriend would be unhappy. But it seemed as if he was worrying too much.

The couple enjoyed their lunch together and chatted without mentioning anything about Chen Hao. Knowing that the meetings with the potential suppliers were important to her, Zhang Yu Han asked whether she wanted to return to her office after their meal was over but Li Qin Yao shook her head.

”I texted Liang Sheng earlier and let him handle everything,” Li Qin Yao said. ”Let's just walk around this place.”

”Is that alright?”

Not too long ago, Li Qin Yao had told him about what happened that accident. Naturally, he knew how much she cares about the suppliers. So, when Li Qin Yao decided not to join the meeting, Zhang Yu Han was a bit surprised.

Li Qin Yao nodded. ”Liang Sheng is someone who was sent by my grandfather. I trust that he will do everything well.”

Zhang Yu Han watched her expression for a couple of seconds and nodded.

The two walked around and enjoyed the scenery before them in silence. Just as they reached a corner, Li Qin Yao turned to face Zhang Yu Han and pulled at his hand. ”Zhang Yu Han, don't you have any questions for me?”

Zhang Yu Han helped to tuck a few strands of her ears behind the ear and smiled. ”I have.”

Seeing that he did not want to continue to speak, Li Qin Yao frowned. ”You're not going to ask?”

Initially, Zhang Yu Han had a lot of questions after he learned that they will be meeting with people from the WS Company. However, whatever questions and doubts he had disappeared the moment that she had returned to his side.

Anyway, after seeing that person's expression and hearing his words, Zhang Yu Han could guess a bit of what that person was upset about.

As long as Li Qin Yao chose to stay by his side, Zhang Yu Han thought that nothing else should matter.

”I am curious. But I believe if it was something you would want me to know, you will tell me,” Zhang Yu Han said.

”You trust me that much?”

”Qin Yao, whatever you tell me, I will always choose to trust your words.” Zhang Yu Han watched her tilted her head sideways and spoke again. ”Actually, I have to admit. When that person showed up, I was afraid that you were going to leave and get back to him.”

Li Qin Yao saw that Zhang Yu Han looked away from meeting her gaze. However, he could not hide away his reddened ears.

Suddenly, her lips curled into a teasing smile. ”You don't have confidence in yourself?”
