Chapter 144 - Nothing but a Sweet Dream (1/2)

Zhang Yu Han froze as he heard her words. and the two of them continued to stare into each others' eyes.

At this moment, Zhang Yu Han was still in a trance. He was shocked!

Though he had imagined kissing her lips countless times, he had never dared to take the step. He was always someone who knew how to control his emotions well.

Zhang Yu Han might have waited for a long time to be with the girl he liked, but he did not want to rush things between them. It was his first time for him to be in a relationship and therefore, he wanted to take things slow and enjoy everything that they do together.

He wanted to make her fall head over heels for him. And to do so, he chose to slowly entice her rather than forcing things between them.

Didn't they use to say that strong twisted melon is not sweet?

However, what he did not expect was for Li Qin Yao to initiate the first kiss.

Of course, his head would go blank and he started to wonder whether he kept thinking about kissing her that he started to have this hallucination. Or perhaps everything was nothing but a sweet dream.

But as he continued to look into her eyes Zhang Yu Han was slowly convinced that the kiss was real.

Still… he could only continue to stand still as his brains slowly started to move and process what he should do with this unexpected situation. His head was debating whether to lean in and kiss her would be a good idea.

Anyway, he was still her probation boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Li Qin Yao was starting to doubt her action. Perhaps she was too brazen and that had scared Zhang Yu Han. Otherwise, why won't he come forward and kiss her back?

They were standing too close. Their situation made her anticipate for his kiss, but Zhang Yu Han had turned to look away. Perhaps she was carried away the moment that she decided to grab the front of his shirt, forcing the man to bent down and kissed him.

Now that she thought about it, perhaps she was too abrupt.

Will this made Zhang Yu Han change his opinion towards her?

Just as those thoughts came to her mind, Li Qin Yao began to panic.

She slowly released her grip on his shirt and tried to back away. Li Qin Yao tilted her head down in both disappointment and embarrassment. All she could think about was to find a way to escape.

However, just before she could run away and hide, Li Qin Yao felt Zhang Yu Han's hand sneaking on the back of her head, tugging her forward. Before she could properly figure out what was happening, his other hand touched her chin as he tilted her head up. Then, Zhang Yu Han brought his face down to kiss her.

Her eyes widened in shock.

In the beginning, Zhang Yu Han merely kissed her hesitantly, testing whether she was going to push him away. Then, he slowly let her adjust to his lips with his slow caress and alternating his kisses between light and firm.

Facing his tender kiss with such longing, Li Qin Yao felt her heart raced and soon, she started to pry open her lips a little bit and responded to his kiss.
