Chapter 21 - I Am Not An Insurance Salesman (1/2)
Li Qin Yao lifted her head, and her gaze met with a familiar face. ”It's you?”
It was then that she recalled the familiar voice she had heard earlier. It turned out that it was Zhang Yu Han! The man sat a few seats away in front of her.
Zhang Yu Han did not answer. He lifted his gaze and shifted his body sideways. Soon, a cabin crew walked pass them.
It was then that Li Qin Yao realized that the man had stood next to her to let the cabin crew pass.
”You're traveling to the Capital City as well?” Zhang Yu Han asked when he looked at her again.
Li Qin Yao nodded. When she noticed that Zhang Yu Han stood by her side without any intention to move, Li Qin Yao spoke, ”You're going to the lavatory? You should go on first. We'll talk later.”
It was then that Zhang Yu Han snapped out of his thought. He was heading to the lavatory when he saw her. For a few seconds, he was entranced and had forgotten where he was going. Zhang Yu Han nodded and lowered his head while he chided himself for his stupidity. Li Qin Yao might think of him as an idiot when she saw him standing there, staring at her.
Zhang Yu Han returned from the lavatory and hesitated. He wanted to talk to Li Qin Yao. However, when he noticed that she was engrossed into the book in her hand, he decided not to disturb her.
It was fate that he would share the same flight as her. Since this was not the first time that he had coincidentally met her, Zhang Yu Han was sure that their red thread of fate would allow them to meet again.
The flight landed once after two hours. When Zhang Yu Han headed towards the exit, Li Qin Yao was no longer at her seat. Zhang Yu Han headed to the hall with his belonging and headed out to look for his assistant.
Xiao Ye greeted Zhang Yu Han when he saw his boss. ”Master Zhang, the car is here. Let's go.”
Zhang Yu Han trailed after his assistant and paused when he saw a familiar figure. ”Xiao Ye, you should go first. I will look for you later.” He watched Xiao Ye disappeared among the crowd and headed to Li Qin Yao.
”Miss Li. You've grabbed a ride yet?” Zhang Yu Han said.
Li Qin Yao turned around and was surprised to find Zhang Yu Han behind her. Her heart pounded as she heard his deep, vibrating voice. ”I-I am waiting for someone to pick me up.”
”Your boyfriend?” he guessed.
”My grandfather,” she said with a smile.
Zhang Yu Han then recalled that Wei Jun Hao had told him that Li Qin Yao's grandfather was the granddaughter of Li Ren Xin, the Chairman of QL Group Property in the capital city.
