”Qin Yao, you looked nice today,” Auntie Yu said as she walked in into the cafe. She looked at the outfit her employer was wearing and smiled with approval.

Li Qin Yao's smile widened as she heard Auntie Yu's compliment. ”Thank you, Auntie Yu.”

Mei Xuan gave her friend a sideways glance ”Judging from that outfit and that smile on your face, I bet she got a date with her boyfriend later on.”

”Chen Hao will come and pick me later for lunch. How did you know?” Li Qin Yao placed both hands on her cheek.

Mei Xuan clicked her tongue at Qin Yao's expression. ”You're already this old, and you still want to act like a schoolgirl.”

Auntie Yu laughed at her comment. ”What's wrong with acting cute when you're in love. Are you jealous because you haven't gone on a date with your husband for a long time?”

”Don't mention it,” Mei Xuan sighed. ”I haven't been on a date with my husband after our son was born. In the beginning, I was too busy looking after the baby. Later on, it just did not feel right to go out and leave our child to others.” She looked at Qin Yao and said, ”Qin Yao, later of you get married, don't have a child too soon.”

The three of them chatted a bit more and dispersed to get their job done when a few customers walked in.

Li Qin Yao stood behind the counter with her gaze on the ordering form. After making sure that there was nothing wrong with the order, Li Qin Yao stamped on the paper and signed the documents.

Just then, Mei Xuan appeared beside her with a menu folder in her hand. ”Qin Yao, Qin Yao,” she lowered her tone. ”Look at that man.”

Li Qin Yao raised her head and looked at the dining area. There are five tables occupied with customers. Two out of the tables had male patrons.

”The one at the bar.”

It was then that Qin Yao noticed a man stood beside the bar, with his gaze on the coffee menu on the wall.

”What's with him?”

Mei Xuan's eyes turned sparkly. ”Handsome, right? He has been coming here for three days in a row. And every time he came over, he would order for a cup of Americano and chicken sandwich for takeaway.”

Qin Yao stared at the man again. He had one hand in his pants. Judging from the way he dressed up in excellent quality suits and shoes, Qin Yao could guess that he is a rich guy or someone important. It was rare to see someone who dressed like him to enter her cafe.

Suddenly, their gaze met. Qin Yao curved her lips into a smile and nodded towards him.

”What do you think?” Mei Xuan urged.

Li Qin Yao lowered her gaze and shrugged. ”So-so.”

Mei Xuan rolled her eyes. The man is handsome. How could she say 'so-so'? She decided not to speak to Qin Yao who can't seem to appreciate a handsome man. She turned around to grab a plate and an orange flan from the dessert counter.

At this time, Qing Kong, who was the chief barista of Cafe Lilium strolled towards them. ”Boss Li.” she nodded. ”There's a customer who wanted to see you.”

Li Qin Yao raised her head and saw the man from earlier stepped towards her. She glanced at Qing Kong and saw her nodded. Qin Yao closed the file on her hand and, smiled politely towards the man.

”You must be the owner,” The man said.

She nodded. ”You are?”
