Chapter 151 - From princess to pirate part 2 (1/2)
Along the way, we encountered a prince. The prince had escaped from Persia.
Tenchi: escaped?
Yona: well there was a war between Persia or how it was originally called Pars and Xing. Well, the war was going on for many years.
The Royal Capital of Ecbatana, a city of splendor and wonder, ruled by the undefeated and fearsome King Andragoras. Arslan was the young and curious prince of Pars who, despite his best efforts didn't seem to have what it takes to be a proper king like his father.
Tenchi: sounds like a certain princess I know
Yona: Huh? Lili seemed like she is a good princess. she was even helping the people suffering from drugs
”...”
At the age of 14, Arslan went to his first battle and loses everything as the blood-soaked mist of war gives way to scorching flames, bringing him to face the demise of his once glorious kingdom. The king was captured and prince fled
Tenchi: when did this happen?
Yona: this happened about three years ago
After escaping the horrors of the battlefield, the prince took refuge with his bodyguard in a mountain retreat belonging to the former lord and genius strategist,
Tenchi: he sounds like you
Are you a strategist?
”...*sigh*
he enlisted his assistance in his mission to reclaim his lost kingdom. Meanwhile, the royal capital of Ecbatana is under siege by the Xing and the queen finds herself captured by the mysterious masked figure behind the fall of Pars.
Tenchi: (hmm strange I heard the king of Xing only had daughters..wait could it be him...my master's apprentice...)
The prince and his party have escaped Xing's forces, Xing stopped at nothing to capture the prince. To draw out Arslan, Xing used an underhanded plan to massacre innocent villagers until the prince makes his appearance, but Arslan did not stand idly by while the lives of his people are at stake, so he goes out to take on Xing and his army of over one thousand soldiers.
Then that is when the monsters started rampaging...
Monsters would attack people and people would turn into daemons.
Daemons was a big threat and then exorcist was needed,.The thing was Exorcist was based on Xing...but their religion wasn't something that many followed...they weren't able to fully utilized their ways...that is when the Shepard met up with the prince Arslan...
The prince found that he was undermatch for the monsters and army regrettable promised the Shepard free reign to practice their religion in Pars...and agreeing to some other outrageous agreements that he was too naive to realize at the time...
Tenchi: why didn't he have an aid help him with the terms
Yona: It seems that the shepherd has a silver tongue and he had signed the papers agreeing before he knew it...
Tenchi: I can't stand silver tongue people
Yona: (aren't you like that?)
Tenchi: also...why are you telling me his backstory?
Yona: it's important for the readers
”...?”
Yona: just kidding. It will make sense.
After that was done. the Shepard left to gather his forces saying they are a great pilgrimage and exorcise the daemon threat... so they left going around the three kingdoms...This was also a way of moving his forces around without notices. also due to the church's influence, the Xing Kingdom couldn't touch them...however they didn't know that the church influence was growing and growing...
Tenchi: so what led to the prince seeking out the church...
Yona: oh yeah...apparently a priestess named Farangis shes not...that attractive...small chest
Tenchi: I beg to differ...very curvaceous
Tenchi says looking at her image
*cough...well it was her and wandering minstrel Give has joined Prince Arslan in his quest to reclaim his kingdom. But these new additions were far from enough to stand up against the vast army of Lusitania and the nefarious scheming of the Man in the Silver Mask.
Tenchi: I see...
Yona:...oh yeah the proprietress said she had received a vision from a goddess to join up with the true king...I guess the same as us
Tenchi: true king huh...
Tenchi went into deep thought...Yona noticed that he was trying to figure out something
Yona: Ry-ryouta?
Tenchi: oh nothing to worry about now continue
she nodded and continued

In the midst of war, the rumblings of King Andragoras' (king of pars) dark past have resurfaced, bringing even Arslan's right to the throne in question. The prince and his friends have counted on loyalty to Pars, but with doubt over the rightful succession, does that loyalty still include Arslan?
