Chapter 58: Reunited with Xia Wei

The production team invited three guests for this particular episode. Apart from An Wen and Xia Wei, there was another popular young man named Tang Ting.

Coincidentally, she reunited with Xia Wei when she landed at the airport. He noticed her too and quickly ran towards her in excitement. “What a coincidence, Lil Sis An.”

The two were wearing caps and masks. Fortunately, Xia Wei’s itinerary was not revealed to the public. Otherwise, they would have been stuck at the airport, being surrounded by fans.

“Get into your car and we’ll communicate over the phone,” said An Wen before she hurried into her car.

Xia Wei immediately called her once he got into the car. “Lil Sis An, you were so cold towards me. We’ve not seen each other for a long time, after all.”

“Big Brother, don’t you understand your own status? The airport was so crowded! If I were caught speaking to you in public, we would definitely get surrounded by fans within seconds.”

“I think you’re only saying that because you want to head to the hotel earlier for a good rest,” Xia Wei said angrily.

“Why are you so intelligent?” she replied.

“You really break my heart. I couldn’t sleep last night because I was too excited to meet you! But Lil Sis An, you heartless little girl…”

Xia Wei was still speaking when An Wen hung up. She could not handle any more of his cheesiness.

They were well-rested at night in the hotel and left for the shooting location at 6 a.m. the next morning.

In the car, Xia Wei was reminded by his agent, “Please promise me you’ll keep a distance from An Wen for the rest of the day.”

Xia Wei thought that sounded ridiculous. “You think An Wen will try to take advantage of my fame?”

His agent smiled coldly and explained, “You tend to become unbelievably dumb once you’re with her. I don’t want you to let your fans down.”

He actually could not refute that so he simply grunted, “I’ll… I’ll think about this later.”
