”You believe me?”

Tang Zhen looked at him in disbelief. All these years, the only thing she had not dared to aspire for was Song Qiting's trust.

But now that he really believed in her, she felt that everything was unreal. Unknowingly, her eyes began to ache so much that they turned red. That sparkling and translucent tearlight continued to hang on her lower eyelashes, but didn't fall down.

Song Qiting felt his heart ache as he looked at her. He placed his large hands on the back of her head and leaned over to kiss her, then placed all the tears gathered in her eyes into his mouth.

”Tell me what happened.”

”Sleep, believe me, this will all get better.”

Song Qiting said gently.

It was probably because her nerves had been stretched too taut in the past two days. Furthermore, the stimulation from Tony committing suicide had not dispersed yet, so Tang Zhen could no longer endure it and quickly fell asleep.

Song Qiting stared at her sleeping visage until he confirmed that she had fallen asleep. Then, he slowly got off the bed.

When he walked to the courtyard, Chen Mo was already standing there and waiting.

”How's the investigation going?”

Song Qiting asked coldly. It was not the first time Yu Yifei framed Tang Zhen twice, so even though he did not say it out loud, he knew in his heart that it was not the first time.

He had always thought that Yu Yifei was kind in her heart. Those were merely mistakes she made that she couldn't figure out because she was afraid of losing herself.

He was clear in his heart that Yu Yifei was no longer that kind and innocent girl from back then. She had become crafty, even vicious, and now, she was even willing to pay the price with the child in her womb.

”I haven't found any conclusive evidence yet. It's just that Tang Zhen didn't do those things, and the evidence that isn't beneficial to Tang Zhen right now is that surveillance recording.”

Chen Mo said, he had been investigating this matter, but now he had no way of investigating.

”Is Yu Yifei awake?”

Song Qiting asked with a thoughtful expression. Those sharp eyes carried a trace of danger. It seemed like he had to go to the hospital and ask about it.

He had never thought that he would develop to such a state with Yu Yifei. He had given Yu Yifei a chance before.

”I woke up two hours ago. Xiao Mei was always with her at the hospital.”
