However, even though he knew that Xu Miaomiao was joking around, Chen Mo still couldn't help but to feel a poke in his heart. Perhaps some emotions had changed, and then, everything would never go back to how it used to be.

Xu Miaomiao thought back to the past and she suddenly thought of Tang Zhen. Yesterday, he was saved by Gu Yuan from the mountain. They had clearly heard that Tang Zhen had disappeared, but what about now? Did she find it?

”Chen Mo, where's Tang Zhen? You even came here personally, Tang Zhen will definitely be fine, right?”

Xu Miaomiao said worriedly. She thought that Tang Zhen was right inside the manor, so she got out of bed and prepared to see her.

”What are you doing?” ”You are injured, so you can't get out of bed. Just tell me what you want to do.”

”I want to know where Tang Zhen is. It's all because of me running around randomly that she's gone too. If something were to happen to her, I would definitely feel extremely guilty.”

He knew that the reason why Gu Yun became like this, was because of Tang Zhen. She had brought him here to relax out of good intentions, but in the end, she had implicated him.

From the day before, Gu Yun did not know a single thing about Tang Zhen's whereabouts. He once again helped Xu Miaomiao up to the bed and couldn't help but turn his gaze towards Chen Mo.
