”Injured? You... What's going on? How did you get yourself into this state? ”

Only now did Xu Miaomiao notice Tang Zhen's arm that was wrapped in bandages. He could not help but ask worriedly, and did not pay attention to Chen Mo's rebuke.

”It's alright. You must be exhausted after coming back so late. I've already prepared a room for you. I'll take you to rest.”

Tang Zhen said while smiling, and did not directly answer Xu Miaomiao's question. After she finished speaking, she subconsciously turned around to look at Song Qiting, and then, she pulled Xu Miaomiao out of the bedroom.

Xu Miaomiao walked into the guest room and threw his bag onto the bed. He laid on the bed and couldn't move at all.

”City A is still the best. The air is still fresh. If I knew earlier, I would have gone to hide at your place. My parents wouldn't have come to search my cousin's house anyway.”

Xu Miaomiao sighed softly. Her luggage had already been carried up by the servants. Tang Zhen laughed helplessly, then opened her luggage and hung her clothes neatly in the wardrobe.

Looking at Tang Zhen's loving wife and mother look, Xu Miaomiao couldn't help but to shake his head and sigh, ”It's such a pity, for you to be so gentle and virtuous, my cousin does not know how to cherish it. That's right, who told him to fall for that bitch Yu Yifei, if he thinks about it, he's really angry, why don't we go to the hospital and beat her up to vent our anger?”

When he thought of Yu Yifei, Xu Miaomiao became extremely furious, and wished that he could run to the hospital and teach her a lesson right now.

”You are still as impulsive as before. I really agree with your actions. Quickly find a wife for you to properly restrain your temper.”

Tang Zhen joked, after she finished tidying up the last item, she sat beside Xu Miaomiao. After being alone in the Song Family for so many years, only this silly girl would truly treat her like this.

Tang Zhen turned his body and lied beside Xu Miaomiao. It was the same as when they were in university, they were squeezed together on the same bed, unable to say anything.

Xu Miaomiao asked her about everything that had happened during the time she was gone for half a year, and Tang Zhen told her everything. Of course, she automatically forgot everything that had happened since Yu Yifei returned, especially the incident where she committed suicide. She understood Xu Miaomiao's personality, if she were to find out about all of these, she would have carried her blade and directly killed her way to the hospital.

”Now that my grandmother has passed away, I don't have much else to worry about. I just want to live the rest of my life for myself.”

Tang Zhen let out a light breath of air. Sure enough, finding someone to talk to was enough to make him feel better.

”You're so stupid, you didn't even tell me about your grandmother's death, did you or did you not treat me as a friend?”

Xu Miaomiao suddenly hugged Tang Zhen. She knew better than anyone how important her grandmother was in her heart. She really couldn't imagine how much pain Tang Zhen felt seeing her grandma die. She probably wanted to die.

”It's over now. Am I not fine now?”

Tang Zhen knew that Xu Miaomiao was heartbroken. She had wanted to say something more to comfort him, but Chen Mo suddenly knocked on the door.

Xu Miaomiao immediately stood up and opened the door, and saw Chen Mo standing right in front of her room.

”What are you doing?” Xu Miaomiao looked at Chen Mo snappily. This Chen Mo liked to play tricks on her since young, but she had never treated him nicely before.

”Calm down young miss, I'm here to look for Tang Zhen.”

Chen Mo hurriedly raised his hands in surrender. Now, every time he faced Xu Miaomiao, he would regret playing tricks on her. He never thought that the grown up Xu Miaomiao would actually be so barbaric.

”What's wrong?”

Tang Zhen immediately walked to the door and asked.
