“If I had known you would like it so much, I would have skinned it and given you the skin.”

“…Don’t do that.” Even if Blain’s skin had any value, she didn’t want it given away. Instead of responding to her denial, he bit the back of her neck lightly, and Leah pushed him away. She’d had to cover her neck before because he’d bitten her so hard and she didn’t want to be wearing high-necked dresses again. Ishakan caught her protesting hand and licked it.
