Chapter 12 (2/2)
A monster with blue horns more than 4 meters long that looks strong.
He could see only a few B-rank ace monsters being torn on the floor.
Awakens of Aegis were talking among themselves, laying monster bodies on all sides.
Meanwhile, three people turned at the same time.
Exactly where he was.
Il-hyun and their gaze met.
“Suction!”
A startled Il-hyun took a breath and stepped back.
“You never noticed me on this street?”
Even the awakened people felt it was too much.
He never looked down again.
It was all two people just staring in that direction.
The other, Ghost, disappeared.
Then, an object appeared suddenly and was blindfolded.
“Who are you?”
“Oh!
As the face of the person wearing a mask flipped out of the rooftop, Il-hyun was surprised and stepped back.
The man who appeared suddenly had his body pass through the wall and climbed up to the shoulders.
Ghost shook his head to one side and asked again.
“What are you doing?”
“Ah… I think I was on the wrong track while evacuating.”
The frightened Il-hyun made excuses that could not be worn while wearing a protective coat.
Then, Ghost went through the floor and materialized.
His translucent body returned to the original distinctive color.
“I’ve been doing this for years, but the degree of awakening is blindfolded. There is one guess…”
For a moment, the man, who was overcast, suddenly grabbed one of Il-hyun’s arms.
Reflectively, Il-hyun tried to shake his arm, but both of the bodies became blurred this same moment.
As he looked at Il-hyun’s eyes with his eyes wide open looking at himself, Ghost laughed cheerfully and pulled him down.
“haha! Let’s go together!”
“What is this…!”
Il-hyun and Ghost’s bodies disappeared, and they were sucked under the building.
He couldn’t even scream out of his mouth.
As he continued to go down the floor, he felt dizzy as if the world was spinning.
When about three stories remained on the ground, Il-hyun rolled out of the building and rolled unto the floor.
“Collocolocolo!”
Il-hyun was incapable of enduring his first experience.
Meanwhile, Lee Soo-yeon and Seok Pil-jun were walking in front, and Ghost came from behind the building.
Surrounded by three awakened people wearing black coats, Il-hyun gave out a muffled sigh.
“Ha, I think it’s wrong to run away properly.”
“I didn’t know that the Scavenger who I had only heard from rumors would come to us.”
Lee Soo-yeon, who came forward, said, flipping her flowing hair backward.
It was quite improbable that the awakened people would be invaded in their own field.
She stared at him with a curious look, as if she were just curious.
She seemed to have never expected a Scavenger to come to them.
It was natural for Il-hyun to come to the courtyard, which was unexpected.
“Well, Scavenger.”
Il-hyun paused while talking.
At first glance, they seemed to be convinced that he was a scavenger.
They weren’t an easy opponent to cheat on, and Il-hyun thought it would be useless if he did, decided to go out honestly.
“Sorry. I came to the wrong place without knowing that I was transferred to another place in the middle. I’m going to go quietly without interruption, so let’s continue doing what we were doing.”
It was his fault that he entered the scene on his own, so he bent down and went in.
She suspected that Il-hyun was trying to end the conversation no matter what. But she asked instead.
“Where do you belong to?”
“Yeah…? No, nothing.”
“How long have you been awakened?”
“It must have been about two weeks.”
The woman continued to speak, Il-hyun replied moderately, and scanned her around.
He was looking for a runway while thinking about getting out.
He was expecting a slight gap.
“2 weeks? It’s not a good time to get used to being a scavenger.”
“What are you doing?”
“Stay still.”
Seok Pil-jun did not hold the man in front of him but stared at the team leader in conversation.
But she continued the conversation as if it were interesting.
“If you have the ability to turn your face into a free material, even if you are not an awakening company, you might be a talented person looking for information in a place like an information agency… Did you deliberately not belong?”
“I can’t tell you that.”
“Hmm.”
Lee Soo-yeon touched her mouth.
“So why can’t I tell you why I started working for Scavenger?”
“What… right.”
She had been curious about his story, as she had already learned in detail from her acquaintances that Scavengers, who had recently become a hot topic, has taken the lead in the rescue of citizens in every field he goes to.
But when the man didn’t seem to answer anymore, he deemed it a pity.
“I don’t like to stand up and play, though. How many flies are twisted in foreign countries… Scavengers has no good feelings.”
Even if he has heard a story about the people in front of him, the fact that he intercepted a monster in another’s territory has not changed.
Scavenger was Scavenger and even saying that he didn’t actually know it wasn’t sincere.
There were also scavengers aiming for hot water, taking risks, and tackling high-ranking ether cores.
There was no reason to let them go.
“I’m going to lead the police outside, so don’t blush each other, are we clear?”
He said it to be clear, but it sounded to be calm.
It was rather generous in situations where the difference in power was obvious.
However, Il-hyun had no intention of being quietly caught.
He started running in the direction he had seen.
Lee Soo-yeon sighed at his actions and glanced.
Then Ghost moved.
