Vivian got the information, then turned to ask Faith, ”Kylie is coming. Do you want to stay away?”

Faith remained silent for a while. ”No need,” she said, shaking her head.

If she stayed away on purpose, she would seem like a coward. Anyway, she just did her job, and there was nothing to hide.

Faith gave Vivian her tablet. ”See? The news is quite effective.”

Vivian wore a satisfied smile. ”I knew I chose the right person. What do you plan to do next?”

”I understand you've paid a lot for the supporting role in Oh, Mother,” Faith said, then stopped for a second. ”But it's a villain in the show. I don't think you should play it.”

”Why?” Vivian was reluctant to give it up.

”You had a publicity stunt with a male singer in the music video to gain attention last time. Although the male singer didn't say anything, his fans hate you now.” Faith looked at her.

Vivian turned her head aside, feeling a little embarrassed, then turned back to look at Faith. ”Good for you. You've done an investigation on me.”

”I must know you well if I'm going to help you,” Faith said with a calm face.

Vivian yielded. ”Yes, it's true, but I can't give it up right now after what I've done for it!”

Faith took out a script from her bag and handed it to Vivian. ”This web series is very popular, and the shooting of the second season is about to begin. If you're willing to accept it, I can help you.”

Vivian glanced at it, then her eyes lit up. ”Can I play the leading role in it?”

”Its director asked me for recommendations the other day. I think it's easy,” Faith said.

”That's great!” Vivian was cheered up but still felt a little unwilling to give the supporting role up. ”I just served Harvey a free meal.”

”What? What is it?” Matthew asked with excitement. He ached to get it but didn't dare move ahead. ”What? Seriously?” Vivian rounded her eyes in shock.

Faith explained at once. ”The supporting actress replaced by you is supposed to be a member of Kylie's studio. If you quit the role right now, why don't you do Kylie a favor.”

”You should know Kylie's influence in the entertainment industry now. If she's willing to say something good about you, it's very helpful for you to build a good reputation. And...” Faith gently laid her hand on Vivian's shoulder, and her voice became gentle. ”Treat yourself well in the future.”

Other junior assistants by her sides, instead, all wanted to be successful on her coattails.

They did nothing helpful for her but kept flattering her all day.

”My body is all I have in the entertainment industry. What else can I do except sell it for resources?” Vivian said, then smiled at Faith. ”I won't be so dumb anymore since I have you now.”

Faith nodded. She thought Vivian could be saved. When she was about to say something again, they heard noises from the outside of the hospital.

Vivian's ward was on the first floor, and Faith was able to see the gate of the hospital as long as she uncovered the window.
