Chapter 77 - I Love You** (1/2)

Brione sighed while in the car taking her home to her penthouse. She doubted that she would be able to do the kissing scenes given how possessive Cedric was. Berry was betting with Mitch that any kissing or intimate scenes on her script would be removed eventually once The Prince got to hear of them.

She arrived at her penthouse soon thereafter and walked straight to her bedroom to clean up, prepare for bed and call Cedric.

When she was settled on her bed, she grabbed her mobile phone and video called Cedric who answered immediately.

”I'm home, back in my room now,” Brione whispered with a smile.

She creased her forehead noticing it was dark and she could barely see Cedric.

”You're still out?” she asked.

”Yes, I'm inside the car. Sleep tight, Sweetheart. You should get some rest now. I will see you soon.” Cedric smiled and soon ended the call.

Brione pouted her lips. She wanted to talk a little more but Cedric was probably not alone in the car so he ended the call quickly. As expected, she received a sweet message from him instead, a message that made her stomach churn.

”I miss you and I love you, Bri… Sleep tight.]

She typed a reply.

[Goodnight… I miss you too… and I love you too…]

She was about to click the send button but halted and deleted the words, I love you too, before clicking the send button.

She bit her lower lip and sighed. This guilty feeling surged inside her whenever she tried to say I love you to Cedric and she wound up not saying it even though she wanted to do so a lot.

That guilty feeling… towards Gavin… She wondered how long it would continue to consume her. She lay her body on the bed and closed her eyes, hoping Gavin could visit her in her dreams and give her a hint or something. A hint whether he was happy with how things were turning out for her now.

She stood up and grabbed some wine from the bar to help her sleep as she was starting to think too much again and it was making her head spin. She drank till she felt the kick of the alcohol in her system and soon she fell into a deep slumber. She tried to move and woke up when she felt a heavy weight on her waist. Someone was hugging her tightly.

Brione jerked away and quickly opened her eyes, only to see the familiar handsome face of a man she loved. She smiled and whispered, ”You're here? Am I dreaming? How come you're here with me?”
