Chapter 14：Butt Cheeks (2/2)

Cedric let out a roguish chuckle as he said, ”Am I being clingy? I will tone it down a bit if you're uncomfortable. I will pick you up after an hour so make sure you're ready by then. Now, let me at least walk you to my door.”

Brione froze for a while because of Cedric's chuckle. But quickly snapped it out and said, ”No thanks.” Then she quickly turned around and frantically walked out of the room.

Those smiles and chuckles…

She thought she was going crazy as she rushed back to her room and weakly threw herself on her bed. Everything about Cedric reminded her of Gavin. He was totally like Gavin except that there were some differences in their personalities.

She heaved a sigh and closed her eyes. She felt that she was going in circles with the repeated comparison she was doing. She would have the opportunity to explore and find the truth if she continued to stay with him so she must focus on this opportunity instead of just lamenting about things that are out of her control.

Meanwhile, back in the Prince's room, Cedric continued to scroll and search for things about Gavin. Soon he dialed a number.

”Son, is there a problem? How is your head?” his father asked as soon as he answered.

Cedric smiled and said, ”Father, I am good. There are a few episodes of headache but everything is fine. There's no problem at all, just that I miss you. When will you visit me here? Or can I drop by and visit you instead? I want to introduce my girlfriend to you personally.”

”Yeah. I thought you wanted me to have a woman already to stop the bad rumors about me? I found someone that I really like so I did not waste time and made her my woman,” Cedric proudly announced.

He heard his father's loud sigh as he spoke, ”Yes, I wanted you to get a woman Cedric but not just any random woman. You need someone who can help you and back you up in politics. Son, this is a crucial matter, not some child's play.

I've told you about these too many times already. I trained you hard for this, I know, but having a woman that can back you up will help you a lot and make it easier for you. That's why you have to consider Olivia above all women.”

”You worry too much father…” Cedric whispered.

”Ahhh, here we go again. If only you could remember everything else, things would be much easier…” his father replied disappointedly.

”I'm sorry for bringing this up again son. Alright, I will make time from my schedule for you to introduce the woman you like… Sean will get back to you about it soon,” his father helplessly said.

”Thank you, father. I will look forward to it. Don't worry I assure you that I can handle the cabinet, I just need more time… and I will soon help you out with everything…” Cedric reassured.

Actually, he was already prepared but he needed time to secure Brione's heart first and prepare her for the life she has to face once she becomes his wife…

Yes, Brione would not only be his girlfriend but he had already set his mind to make her his wife as well.

He knew how stressed his father was at this moment so he did not mention anything about Gavin just yet. He did not want to add more burden to him and decided that he would handle it on his own for now.
