Where was this place? Qian Jin reeled a little and had an injury reopened. He opened his eyes and gazed around wearily. The air was so dry that it was depleted of water! There might not be any sources of water despite the sand not being that thick.

Qian Jin squatted down to push the yellow sand aside for a look of the earth.

Generally speaking, what was beneath the sand was still sand in the desert. But after the first layer was unveiled, the ground surface came into sight. There were even several familiar substances hidden in the soil.

”Black-sand Iron! Right! It will never reconcile itself to such a deep place! It is likely to appear in the mountains.” Qian Jin frowned, trying to recall the mineral knowledge he had learned from Blake. Black-sand Iron existed like a river. As it slowly flowed forward, the volume became increasingly less.

After walking forward for 100 meters, Qian Jin squatted down and examined it again. There was no Black-sand Iron anymore but only sand one layer after another.

”I see...” Qian Jin slowly turned around and looked over to the distance covered by sand. ”There should be a mountain. But I’m not sure if there is a cave or some dangerous Demon Beast...”

All of a sudden, everything went dark and Qian Jin passed out! Cech Flet immediately grabbed onto him around the waist with both arms. Looking at the sky blurred by the sand set off by a gust, Cech Flet heavily sighed.

Would there really be a mountain? Duren Burg felt uncertain about it as his companions did. The view had long been obstructed by the yellow sand in the air. They had to move forward to find out.

The perennial gusts of wind never stopped! Dimly, the image of a mountain in the distance flicked hither and thither.

At first, Duren Burg had thought it was a mirage. Only after he approached and touched it had he found out this huge mountain made from black boulders and thick yellow sand was real!

”How did Qian Jin come to know about this?” Duren Burg exchanged a doubtful look with the two others and walked ahead in a line with great caution.

The special name of Ancient Desert Sea had always been associated with death and mystery. But after walking there for nearly ten minutes, they hadn’t met even a sand mouse, not to mention Demon Beasts.

How bizarre it was! This place was scarier in name than reality. But according to the ways of surviving in the wild they had learned, this was just the calm before the storm.

There must be some high-level Demon Beasts with a strong territorial sense. That was why no creatures dared to come closer!

Into the mountain or not?

After looking at insensible Qian Jin, Duren Burg felt they were left with no other choices. Staying in this windy and dusty place had its own dangers.

It was said the heaviest storm in Ancient Desert Sea could hurt, tear, and even kill a Saint Warrior!

This mountain had been standing here for God knew how many years! Although its body was not as solid as that of a Saint Warrior, it had already been part of the desert, and the storm posed no threats to it.

Where there were mountains, there were caves whether large or small. Ancient Desert Sea was by no means an exception!

The cave was two meters tall and one meter wide. They couldn’t see a thing standing outside of it, but they did feel a joyous warmth, which was different from the dry heat in the desert. It was mingled with spring-like moisture.

Cech Flet held Qian Jin and cast a puzzled look at Duren Burg who was looking back at him with the same expression! Warriors would always have a premonition of disaster after they had gone through all kinds of life and death tests! But they felt nothing now standing in front of this cave.

Twisting his eyebrows together, Fanta Kunge hesitated and looked around. Was it because the Ancient Desert Sea was beset with dangers everywhere so they couldn’t feel different?

”I’ll go first.” Glancing over the unconscious Qian Jin, Duren Burg carefully walked into the cave. He kept his Bloodline Power ready in the event of an emergency.

Mysterious rustlings kept coming into their ears...
