Chapter 190 (1/2)

Final Battle (1)

In conclusion, it was a waste of time to knock down each of them in that way since the probability wasn’t fixed. If the option were manipulated while it was still undecided whether it’s a lose or win, any effort would be wasted.

I was lost in thought.

‘However, there’s a rule that won’t change. There indeed exists fragments of a god among those objects.’

The probability of the fragments’ location continued to be distorted, but the proposition that it existed wasn’t undermined.

It’s inevitable. If it touched even the probability of the fragment existing, everything in the dimension would cease to exist.

I made a decision after contemplating for a bit.

‘There is no need to think too deeply about it. Sometimes a simple foolish method works best.’

Thinking so, I exuded the power of each divinity that I was blessed with earlier on.

First off, Magic.

I created countless clones around me through the power of the magic god Igras-Sho, but they were only fake bodies formed by Mana and didn’t contain life. I couldn’t project various divine power into them either.

Hence, I then mixed another force- Life.

All of my clones breathed awake, a life temporarily granted to them. However, since they didn’t have a separate ego, it was awkward to call them clones. Technically, it was more accurate to say that the number of my limbs had increased.

And the last hurdle to overcome had come.

The crystals of light were still proliferating indefinitely. That was because, among the probability of whether another option existed or not, all laws were tilted toward the former.

And the source of that ability was the deity, Ramang-Schitre. If so, I could use the same method as well.

Finally, I mixed the power of another god- Luck.

Swoosh!

The life-bearing clones then began to reproduce as they multiplied infinitely. It was only possible in that space since it ignored the laws of physics.

Multitudes of clones stood before every white-lighted option as directed.

‘Now, then!’

I raised my hand, my sword still in hand.

All of my clones also held a Holy Sword, thanks to the god of war’s power.

Thinking about it at the time, the crystals of light were increasing, and the number of clones was also multiplying. Since my existence wasn’t fixed but rather a flux in that space, it increased infinitely and radiated to the positive direction simultaneously. Such a concept couldn’t exist in reality.

‘If there is a concept to stretch out to infinity… the method of returning the term to zero is simple.’

All I had to do was take the infinity out of the equation.

Shhhh!

I swung down.

And that same swing was reproduced in countless numbers.

Space split along an infinitely increasing trajectory. The crystals of light turned into eggs, then their shells broke. One of them had to be a fragment of the god.

‘It worked!’

With only one swing-

The options that had been proliferating without end were completely extinguished.

Soon after, I withdrew all my clones and looked at the dark air. In that space, the colony of starlights, which flowed by increasing its numbers, had disappeared.

There was only one sparkle in the center.

‘The fragment of the god!’

The eggshell that had already been broken was nowhere to be found. As I got closer, I realized its unique nature.

‘The fragment this time is not a substance. It’s a concept.’

The god of Life said that Luck was banished from the valley of convergence.

Suppose all events in the world were classified as 1 and 0, and the probability of occurrence was left to coincidence. In that case, the resulting frequency of occurrence of individual events should’ve converged to 50:50.

But so far, the concept had been applied distortedly in the material world. And it was limited to certain cases.

I tried to understand the concept permeating my head.

‘Even if the mortals move with intentions and plans, it can’t be helped that there will be various coincidences involved in every event in the universe. But what if the probability of such accidental events was twisted?’

Instead of throwing the dice in a completely random mess, the surface was cleverly carved and made to be tilted.

The direction and intention were…

‘for the increase of the chance of every existence at the end of the material world to be destroyed by the void!’

Despite the successor’s existence, the world had been manipulated for the result of events piling up like the butterfly effect over a long time to point toward destruction.

That’s the aftermath of Ramang-Schitre’s loss of a fragment.

However-

‘Great being, Luck. I dedicate this to you.’

I prayed to the god.

The fragment without a clear shape then revealed the concept itself from the realm of cognition. The fragment formed with my logic as the material looked like a scale tilted to one side.

And the moment I decided to dedicate it to Luck. I saw the tilted scale drawing parallels again. At that moment, holy whispers filled with shudders flowed in my head. Just as magic, war, and life had received it earlier, it was a mental wave full of joy.

At the same time, I felt the world’s change through my skin.

‘This time, there wouldn’t be dramatic changes that everybody would notice right away except for the priests.’

However, if they observed it over time, they would see an evident change.

If the axis were tilted even slightly, the results would change drastically. It was hard to notice at the starting point, but the influence would increase dramatically in the long run.

The god whispered to me while I was thinking so.

– Noble mortal belonging to the state of a half-god, I grant you my most glorious blessing.

At the moment it declared so, intense power flowed into my soul.

“This is similar to when ‘Rom’ placed an item on my soul. No, it’s more intense than it was then…!”

After a while, looking at the god’s traces filling inside me, I found out what Ramang-Schitre had gifted me.

‘He has completely recovered the power to intervene with the probability!’

If the twisted divine power manipulated everything in an unfavorable direction, the opposite was possible too.

– Extreme luck will follow in all your actions. The recoil towards convergence will only be received and handled by me, so you are free to enjoy it.

To put it simply…

I was going to be incredibly lucky from that point on.

As the god saw me out, once again showing its gratitude, I was pushed beyond its space.

“Gasp, Mr. Seo Jin-Wook the Awakened has returned!”

The surrounding scenery changed, and I saw the commander who was talking with me until my entry.

But he had a very confused look.
