The air rippled like water, and the car naturally entered the shield.

In a building on the ground below the center of a tactical fortress, I heard a voice. As we stopped the car, the man who had been waiting on standby welcomed us. He was Jonathan Gray, Chief Technology Officer and General Manager of the facility.
“There’s a lot I’d like to show you today as well!”
Without being able to hide his excitement, he led us inside. That building was a docking station of some sort that connected the artificial island in the air and the ground. Researchers went up and down, riding on a circular column of light located in the center. That elevator was also one of the facilities attached to the fort.
“This is it.”
Entering the laboratory equipped with particular safety devices, he handed us an artifact. My eyes widened when I saw it. It was absurd because I didn’t know it would be possible to achieve it that soon. I asked unconfidently.

He replied with a big smile.
