282 Another Ambush Ahead (1/2)
Osia's monster soul is moving at good speed but it can't move well while on the surface of the water. It needs to dive in to move at its full speed. The other ships were able to catch up with us.
”Scythus, we're gonna clear the way for you. The lizardmen helped us with the enemies earlier and now we can go ahead. Akko, on the other hand, refused our offer to help. Make sure you get your strength back and we'll do our best to clear the path for you.” Elou said.
They know that I'm not at full strength after that massive attack I used. I can't use Kyut's transformation today after that attack. I need to rest a little bit.
”Gotcha, take care, man. There's a lot of strong enemies out there.” I replied.
”Don't worry about us. We can handle ourselves. Girls, protect the man will you?” Elou said in a mocking way.
”Roger that!” The girls replied at the same time.
”You idiot, don't die there,” I said and so they went ahead.

I'm so jealous of him being protected by girls. Well, he's the reason why we can go straight to their camp without worrying about the ambush so kudos to him for that.
”We're getting near the island! Do your best guys!” I ordered and I can tell that they are doing their best but we have to push harder if we want to get Scy get what he wants. This is really important for him for some reason and we can't mess it up.
This feeling! I've sensed a tremendous power around us but it moves so fast! Even with my end-game eyesight, I can't catch up!
”FALCON'S EYE!” I enhanced my eyesight as greatly as possible and I saw a faded image... Time to see if you can still move like that when my fastest arrow hits you!
”QUICK SHOTS!” I fired three consecutive arrows towards the target. There's no way I could miss even with that kind of speed.
*SWOOOOSH!* The thing evaded the first one!
*SWOOOSH!* I missed again! Not with the final arrow!
*CLANG!* What?! My arrow flung after hitting something invisible around the thing!
”ZWOOOOSH!* The thing stopped midair and as soon as I look at it, it's someone on a monster form already!
”I never expected someone can hit me at my maximum speed. Even those stupid heads can't hit me.” Who is this girl, is she one of the allies of that fire user who wiped out Scy's group... She's using a monster soul in a form of a bird or something. She emits electricity all over her body too, not really the time to look at her body... I can't let her stop Scy!
”Tanks and warriors, your speed can't keep up with hers so protect our spell casters and supports,” I ordered our melee guildmates as they can't reach her or do something with their heavy gears.
*HEAVY FOOTSTEPS* As soon as I stated the order, they stationed themselves near the supports and spellcaster.
”Spellcaster and support, keep yourself away and hit her when the best opportunity pops out. Don't forget to keep us alive too. Good thing we're ready.” Scy's group was ambushed by someone and they were not prepared but we are. So, let's see if she can really do something like his friend.
”We got this, Sir!” Cheerful Rem said.
”Glev is still inside the ship and Ame's... playing with fishes, Sir!” Lyra reported. Ugh! Not again!
”They'll get here soon, we can do it with what we have. Assassins, hide yourselves and spread out! If she gets near us, catch her as fast as you can.” After that, they spread out. We have a lot of assassins that can do the job done.
