My mana regeneration from my gears can't keep up with Kyut's monster soul transformation. I didn't know she would spend so much of my mana. Before I stopped playing, she told me that she's ready to evolve to her next rank and I told her to do it but we didn't have the chance to test it out and this is the first time we used it.
”I'm surprised that you can use a powerful monster as hers but it looks like you really haven't mastered it yet. I'm surprised that you were able to defeat my guards and I can tell that you didn't kill them on purpose. I'm surprised.” The King said.
”I guess that's the right thing to do after you let two of my friends live even if you can just kill all of us in just a single hit. I guess someone is really trying to consider my proposal.” I replied. If he would really want to execute us, he could have done that in the first place but I guess he really wants to test us, not only our strength but also how we think in this kind of situations. He's truly a King, no doubt about that.
”I'm surprised. A human that doesn't only think about how to get stronger or how to defeat his opponent but also someone who really uses his head is here with me. This time, I won't hold back so fight me like it's your final fight. Surprise me!” I'm sure I will but both Kyut and I need to control our mana usage or one or two more attacks and I'm going to run out of mana.
”Then I won't waste any of your time. Let's do this, Kyut! THUNDERBORN'S CHARGE UP!” I covered my body in lightning element making me release a heavy charge of static electricity and I'm about to burst! Let's see if he can dodge my attack that is more powerful than my last attack!
”THUNDERBORN'S CHARGED FLICKER FLASH!” How about this!
*BZZZZZZZT!* My speed! It's unbelievably fast! There's no way he can stop my attack!
”YAAAAAH!” I delivered a massive and fast kick right to the right side of his face by swiftly reaching him. Gotcha!
*BOOOOOOOOOM!* Massive explosion which emits a huge amount of lighting made the area crumble to dust! There's no way he can survive my attack even if he's a Legendary Boss.
*BZZZT BZZZT* The area is still covered in an electrical field that caused by my attack. Damn it, Kyut. I told you to control yourself and now I'm almost out of mana... my right foot and leg are severely injured as well and I can't balance myself because of that. I feel dizzy after that last attack. Kyut? Are you still there?!
Damn it! It looks like she's out. It's a bad thing that I used her new abilities that I'm not used to.
*BOOOOOOOOM!* What?!
”Look out you, damn human! I'm the only one who should kill you!” Shade?! He saved me!
It's the King! He punched me from behind from the top of my head but his attack passed right through my body and hit the ground instead. I quickly dashed forward to escape and get away from his distance. Thanks to Shade, I could have died from that attack! He's alive even after my burst attack. He's quite injured but not even nearly enough to kill him. He's tough and way too powerful.
”That ability of yours surprises me. The Reaper's ability to pass through things is pretty handy against someone like me who uses brute force. I'm surprised. But I already fought someone who uses the same ability before! LIZARD'S KING'S HEAVY RAIN!” He released a huge amount of water from his mouth and shoot the clouds above the sky and it created a massive amount of rainfall. Now, it's raining so heavily and Shade's passive is canceled. He's smart. I never expective him to be this formidable.
Ugh... now I can feel the pain in my foot and leg. One wrong mistake and I'm dead. Shade... I can't use his monster form anymore. My mana is not enough to use him. There's really nothing I can do to win against him. It's impossible in the first place.
”I don't care anymore! I'm tired of trying to think of what to do or what should I do to defeat you. Now, I'll enjoy and give you my best shot!” I pulled my other daggers out of my small backpack and now I'm holding two of them.
”I'm surprised. Is that one hit all you've got? Humans are fragile and weak creatures. I will break your bones and make sure you're all going to die here right now! GAWOOOOOH!” So intense! The King is really serious right now.
*SWOOOSH!* I threw a dagger directly to his face to break his concentration and dashed forward. My foot hurts but not enough to make me lose my balance anymore.
*CLANG* He used his hand to deflect my dagger and it nailed to the ground near him.
*CRACK!* I swiftly moved right beside him and tried to slash his right leg but my dagger was not strong enough to even scratch him and broke into pieces. After that, I swiftly moved behind him making him a bit confused.
*CRACK!* I tried to pierce his left rib cage but darn it, it cracked again! Every part of his body is so durable and thick that even best of my weapons can't penetrate!
