276 Apologetic Lizard (1/2)
”Take your seats. Don't cheer too much or thousands of spears will fly towards your direction. KACHAAA!” Gill is guiding my guildmates to their seats and I can say that their city is way modern than I expected.
They have a castle which I can say is where the throne of the king is at, some other buildings that look like barracks, though most of the houses around the city are made of woods. This island doesn't look like it can provide good materials for creating a city like Order of Light city so I guess this is really what they can have at best for now. No wonder they only use wooden spears and few swords while fighting us. Thanks to their thick skin, they don't really need armors to protect themselves but still, magic damage is their worst enemy and we can take advantage of that knowledge and win this fight.
”Stop daydreaming and move.” Gill pushed me... I will make him pay by doing this to me, just wait and see.
Well, their arena doesn't look bad either. It's like a little forest but has wide space to make audiences see the battle. I guess this is their thing because a lot of their people or I should say fellow lizardmen are here and are all excited.
”KACHAAA! KACHAAAA! KACHAAA!” It's way too obvious... I don't have any idea what they are saying but I'm sure most of them likes to see us dead.
Zia, Akko and I entered the arena and I can still hear the shouts of the lizardmen from afar. Though, there are only two Lizardmen in front of us which I can tell that they are the guards of the King considering they are wearing better armors than... like everyone around here, no sight of the King yet though. I guess he wants to test us first with his guards.
”By the way, Scy, are you sure you want me to fight with you instead of Lili or Elou? I mean, they can do better. Chara is strong too.” Zia asked and I can tell that she's curious.
”I picked both of you for a reason. Chara's toughness is superb and I can say that she is the best defender we have in the guild but she can't use a magic spell which is the only way we can defeat them. Elou would be a nice addition to the team with his good wind spells but his long distance attacks won't excel in a battlefield like this, we can't use his abilities to the fullest. Lili can heal and apply us some good buffs but that also would leave us less damage output that we need fighting three tough bosses so I decided to take Akko for her light spells, not as good as Lili, but enough to keep us three alive and use magic spells at the same time. I picked you because you are the agilest and quickest member we have, not to mention you have some tricks that we can also use, not only for attacking but also for defending making you our main tank and you happen to use some magic spells too which is a good way to boost our damage output.” I explained. Basically, I need a party that doesn't only have good damage but also can take a hit or two.
”Oh, you picked us right off the bat and you were able to analyze our strengths and weaknesses,” Zia said.
”He's our leader for a reason. Without him as our leader, there will be no Life Guild.” Akko replied. I guess that's a bit of overreaction.
”Let's just be careful. We don't know what will hit us later so, for now, let's learn how they fight and how to counter their abilities.” I suggested.
”I'm scared but also excited as well... So, how do we fight? Usually, we fight separately and we never really had the chance to fight together. How do we do this?” Zia asked. She's right but I already know what to do.
”Zia, you will be my left hand and Akko will be my right. Pay attention to my hand gestures and I'm sure you'll know what to do. I don't have the time to explain it because we're about to start.” I replied. I saw Gill entered the arena and I can say that the fight will start soon.
”Get ready. Today we will execute the first three humans! Everyone, have a wonderful day! KACHAAAAA! Get ready!” Wait, but the leader is not here yet?
”Where's the leader? I thought we're supposed to be fighting him?” I asked.
”He said that you guys are not as strong as those humans in the Island. His guards can take you down in just a couple of seconds.” That's good to hear. Underestimating us before the fight, that's something you don't want to do.
”Fine, start the fight then,” I replied.
”Then without further interruptions, FIGHT! KACHAAAA!”

”I'm sorry. I'm ranked as the third strongest in our race. I'm sorry but I will kill you soon. Please forgive me.” This lizardman is so weird. He's apologizing too much.
”Stop apologizing! *spit* Just kill them already! *spit* You can do it yourself so get on with it. *spit*.” The other guard said. That looks disgusting! He spits a lot! It looks like we're only fighting one of them for now.
The third strongest, he said, is different from Gill. This one has better armor and bigger and I can say that he's going to be a lot tougher than any of his fellow lizardmen.
