267 Calm Blizzard (1/2)
-Far East Sea-
The sunrise gave us a warm welcome for our adventure. It's always sunny and the wind somehow is in our favor. The ship moved slowly at first but it now has steady speed. Thankfully, no one has been seasick since we started moving. I kinda feel like a bit sick but it's tolerable.
Team Glace and Two Teeth are on the first ship because they're the ones who will guide us. Akko's Team and mine are on the second ship to offer better offensive spells while Elou and Lili's team are on the last ship to support us and give us a hand with support and long-range attacks. We planned our position to have better results as this is technically a mission that might be impossible to complete.
Unfortunately, I have no idea how to operate the ship so I just asked Pie to do it for me as he's the brainy guy in our group and he gladly accepted the task. We just took off earlier but upon looking back, it feels like we're already far. It didn't take long and now, we can't see anything anymore around us. The others are just doing their job to stay close and guard the ship at all cost because the danger is always there to surprise us. It's good that the front and rear ships have good spotter and trackers to check the surroundings. This will be a long and boring adventure.
Hours had passed and nothing happened yet and it looks like it will take a while before we can reach a dangerous place so everyone is kind of calm and some are already sleeping. I hope that the other ships are still being careful or we will be in big trouble if there will be an ambush. We still don't know how powerful the monsters are around here.
-Near Calm Blizzard Entrance-
”Scy, I think someone from the first ship is trying to say something by waving his hand but I can't seem to understand.” One of our team members said. I don't know the name of most of our guildmates so I'm sorry... (Beat from Akko's Team)
I looked at that someone and it's the annoying guy waving. Is it just me or is he just trying to say hello? (Bench from Glace Team)
”Don't mind him. He's probably crazy.” So we just ignored him.
”I think he's really saying something.” And once again I tried to check it and it seems like they're trying to slow down their ship.
And soon, their ship is now beside us and the rear ship did too.
”Everything ok?” I asked Glace as she's the who just jumped to our ship first. I guess she got bored there...
”This area is pretty safe from monsters and we're almost at the Calm Blizzard area and we need to stay close together because of the freezing fog that covers the area. It will be a cold night for us later so I suggest we drink lots of booze to make ourselves don't freeze to death.” She suggested. I don't drink any kinds of alcohol, though.
”Why did you call it Calm Blizzard?” I asked.
”Well, because the area is covered in freezing fog which is weird and there's no wind at all slowing down our progress too much. The ship's speed would dramatically decrease but this time, I guess Two Teeth added some good features to the ship to counter that kind of situations. Thanks to our problems from our last voyage.” Well, I hope so.
Then...
”People, gather around! Let's sing together! We can't consider ourselves as pirates if we won't sing, right? Haha!” She announced. Wait... what?
”I'm sorry, but we're not pira...”
”Oh! That would be nice!” Elou, why you...
”Woah! I want to sing too!” And there goes Chara. Osia's with her on our ship and is getting excited too...
”So what are we going to sing?!” Zia wants to join too. Is it just me or am I the only one who doesn't like this kind of events...
”Hmp...” Oh, thank God there's Lili.
”I've got a good pirate song and I know everyone knows it!” Glace excitedly said.
