*Scy's POV*
Zia did her best but it wasn't enough. Vulkhan and Daimond's unison attack isn't something that someone can just stop it alone. Even for me, with full force, I don't think I have the ability to stop that. They both caught us in the right time where almost all the people that can stop their attack are already dead or too weak to fight anymore. Ugh... I tried to sit up but I need to stay still or my wounds will start to bleed like crazy.
Mari appeared and is now trying her best to stop the attack with her weapon soul's limit break. I hope that she doesn't get close to me or it'll blow my cover.
It looks like Zia was able to nullify one-third of Vulkhan and Daimond's attack. I can tell that if she used all of her mana, she can make it until half but the price will be her life. Thankfully, Mari is better when it comes to nullifying spells so she can dispell it but like what happened to Zia, she won't be able to fight anymore. In the end, we will still lose but it's not a reason to give up. We might be almost dead but we're still alive.
”Ugh... ugh...” I knew it... Mari's body is almost at its limit too and she's almost done with the nullification of the spell. There's still like a huge meteor left and it's still enough to kill all of us here in this area. You can do it, Mari!
”KYAAAAH!” Mari shouted and as I looked at her, Vulkhan pierced her from the back. Her hands finally lost its power and the nullification got canceled! Mari!
Damn it to hell! Ughhhh! I can't stand... my body won't listen to me!
”You want to save your little city from being obliterated? I'll say, you can't. This is the old man's fault.” Vulkhan pulled his sword from Mari and then she fell to the ground beside Zia... damn it!
”You jerk... *cough* *cough*,” Sis' having trouble moving.
”I'm just gonna stand right here and watch you all get smashed and burn. A thousand prayers might work! Haha!” Then he walks away while the remaining small meteor is almost at us. It's too late...
*SWOOOOOOSH!* Wait... as I look at the sky, I saw a girl jumped at high speed carrying a giant hammer on her hand!
”ZOFIA'S COOKING PAN SMASH!” She jumped so high that she reached the meteor before it hits us and...
*BOOOOOOOOOM!* In just one powerful hit on the side of the meteor, it shattered into pieces and the debris hit the destroyed north gate! Thankfully not a single one of the debris hit us... After that hit, the hammer she was holding disappeared like that... wait... I know this one! It's Chara!
”What?! Who's that?!” Vulkhan suddenly showed his shocked expression. Well, it looks like he's pissed that he didn't see the climax he was expecting, us getting squished to a pulp.
”Impregnable Wall, to the rescue!” She landed from above while shaking the dirt on her legs armor.
”Whoever you are. You'll pay for what you've done!” Vulkhan seems to be enraged... Chara...
”Holy Orange! What happened here?!” She rushed to Osia first... Zia and Mari are more in trouble by the way.
”I'm fine, carry me to both Zia and that girl beside her,” Osia said and then Chara did what she was told to do... Is it just me or are they ignoring me right now?
”Grrrrr! Stop ignoring me! FLAME GOD'S ROAR OF THE DRAGON!” Vulkhan released a powerful flame wave towards all of them! Look out! Chara dropped Osia beside Mari and Zia.
”ZOFIA'S SHIELD OF BULWARK!” She created a giant shield in front of them stopping the flames of Vulkhan! How can she created high-level defensive spells whenever she wants?!
”What?! Damn you!” Vulkhan cried in anger.
Osia's trying to heal and stop Mari's bleeding while she's trying to heal herself. Unfortunately, she overused her mana that she can't heal them fast enough for them to fight again. Now, I didn't expect that Chara would help us up to this point now that Jay didn't even show up yet.
”Now, stand back. I will take care of the rest.” She said and then the others backed off towards me. They also carried Drake who's still unconscious. Finally, they will heal me too.
Uhmmm... hello, please heal me too. Why are you sitting beside me looking at each other...
*Chara's POV*
I can't believe that these two guys managed to defeat all of them. Zofia, can you assess their threat level. I can feel that they are releasing ominous aura and I don't think I can defeat them at my current situation. I just ate earlier but I think I want to eat more.
”Both of them are in their final state of their monster soul but it won't last long. Their mana is almost at their limit but still be careful, Banana Girl.” Uhmmm ok... Please stop calling me Banana Girl...
*CRACKS!* From below!
”ZOFIA'S BOOTS OF QUICKNESS!' I hopped back trying to dodge the attack from below the ground! It was the guy with the arms of rocks... I avoided it but the pressure knocked me back...
*BAAAAAAAAAAM!* Another attack from above! The fire guy used his flaming sword to slash me but he hit the ground instead. They may be powerful but they're slow. I can use it to my advan...
*BOOOOOOOOOM!* Holy! Fire guy unleashed a wide flame spell that almost got me! The others need to evacuate to a safe place soon or they will get caught by our battle.
”ZOFIA'S JACKFRUIT THORNS!” I created daggers and shot it to the fire guy!
*CLANG CLANG!* He deflected it with his sword and with one slash, my attack became useless... They're powerful!
*BAAAAAAM!* Ugh! I tried to block the attack of the guy with rock hands using a shield but it's too powerful that it pushed me back! His hands are boosted by something that gives him more power.
