”Ksssssssssss!” The snakes really know how to show that they really like me. They moved in an ”S” pattern and are now coming towards me.

I don't have any mana and stamina left. There's no way that I can escape death this time. I've been fighting too much now and even if I still want to fight. I exhausted all I have. I don't have any ideas left to escape this forsaken place.

”Ksssssssss!” One of the fastest snakes got near me and ready to bite the heck out of me!

*BAAAAAM!* I took out my shield from my back and before it bites me, I was able to block the attack and smashed the snake's face. With that last attack, I can't still catch my breath.

*WOOOOOOOSH!* And once again, the auras of the monsters disappeared. It seems that the Moondog was able to fix the damn staff.

”Kssssssssss!” The other snakes started to swarm on me, I tried to defend myself but there are too many of them...

Ack! One of the snakes bit my shoulder and it didn't leave a mark but instead, my shoulder started to turn to stone! I can't move the left part of my body!

It didn't end from that, the remaining snakes bit the other parts of my body, and until the only thing that's left is my head... it happened so fast...

”I'll make sure that all of you will burn to ashes when we meet again...” That's the last sentence I've said before I was kicked out of the game.

-Scy's Guild-

*Akko's POV*

*CRACK*

The mana stone I was holding earlier didn't just lit off but it was also got destroyed which only means that Scy died or affected by something that closes to death. I know, it's our fault for not going with him... I was about to cry but...

”Hey, it's alright. Scy dies a lot and we know it. He must have met a stronger monster that we haven't faced so far. You know that when Scy dies, he learns something from it, right? For now, we just have to wait for him and then decide on what to do next.” Elou calmed me down. Jeez, Scy was so reckless as always.

”He must have met the World Boss there. We don't know what happened but if Scy died then it's really beyond our expectations.” I feel like their trust for Scy is not getting better.

”For now, we have to fortify our defenses before the invasion hit us. We still have some time left to prepare. Scy will be joining us after four hours.” I suggested. Better be ready for the worst.

In just a couple of orders, Sis was able to manage hundreds of thousands of people in just a couple of hours. I can't believe it that she organized the guilds' best assets and is now ready and prepared to defend from the coming invasion.

Earlier, for some reason, the aura they were talking about disappeared, they said. Well then that means, it was concealed again by someone or something which is really bad because we can't predict when or where the monsters will come from, not to mention, we are all hungry and exhausted. We still haven't log out and it's already almost morning.

”You travelers, you should take your breakfast now. We have a long day to wait later.” Miss Celeste ordered us to log out and have our breakfast.
