They said that the players who defended the place were high-level characters but they were all wiped out. Some said that there are only six raiders and they didn't steal anything and only killed players in the area. If this is related to the invasion, we really have to do something about it.” What?! That village is almost near our hideout. If we were there, we could have helped them but we were too busy with our building in the forest.

”We also heard that there is a newly established guild far from here. They built a guild in the worst time because of the coming invasion. Recruiting people from around the world would just lessen the power of other guilds but I don't think there are enough dumb people who would join a new guild, right? Does that mean the guild leader of the new guild will become one of the Thirteen Gods? Of course, it's not that easy, but we will see if he or she has what it takes.” Dumb people she says...

”Also we heard that someone saw The Reaper fighting one of the Legendary bosses! We heard that they fought almost a day then they flew elsewhere, the witnesses lost track of them after that. If you ask me, a single person fighting a Legendary boss is impossible but we will never know if this rumor is true or not.” I've got a bad feeling about this. I think I know this reaper they were talking about...

These Schools are like in real life school but they do it in the game instead to make students more interested and to lessen the absences when they don't have to commute and just go to in-game schools to learn while enjoying the scenery in the game without the need to wear uniforms. Of course, they teach real-life subjects.” What is happening to the world?!

”Guilds now have the way to signal for help. They build tall lighthouses that will be lit when a guild is in trouble and they will send reinforcement as soon as they can. Whisper function only works for those players that not that far from each other and also registered as friends. Of course, it takes time to travel from guild to guild but it's still good when people can get reinforcements in time, right?” Wow, it's an old way but still useful.

”And last but not the least, Storm Seekers Guild's guards were attacked by a shady guy. One of their walls also has been busted by this guy alone. That's a load of power to destroy those thick high walls! Reports said that this someone can use lightning spells but technically, most of the players from the guild are using lightning spells which made the investigation really hard. After watching the news and do what I have to do, I decided to enter the game.

It's almost ten am and people are almost already here. There are eleven of them but I think one is late.

”Hey, guys! It seems almost all of you are here and like I said earlier, it's time to divide you into groups. Don't worry, it's all been decided by veggie machine, an app from the internet, for picking names so it's all random guys. Let's start with names.” Veggie what? I don't think they are taking this seriously.

”Pie, Chelly, and Uri are in Team Scythus and their leader is Zia.” Hey hey hey? Who said that I would be the leader of these people?

”Meraz, Beat, and Jaine are in Team Akko and the leader is Petula.” Jeez...

”Chiron, Kaita, Rera and Hel are in Team Lili and the leader is Elle.” Both of them don't speak that much or rather doesn't speak at all...

”Selene, Ave, and Zhix are in Team Elou and their leader is Leion. So that's it. Please go to your respective groups then have a simple introduction about yourselves.” Will I ever have the chance to have a normal life in this New Life?

”I have a question.” One of the guys spoke after the grouping. I think his name is Zhix also the one who asked if Scy deserves his title. I'm pretty sure he will complain about something again.

”Sure. What is your question?” Elou calmly asked.

”How do we know if the leaders of the team really can do their part? We don't even know if they are strong or not. And this small girl here doesn't even talk...” Well... that's a good question... He looks competitive.

”We trained them very well and I can say that not a single one of you can defeat any of them but I'm not pretty sure about their capabilities with decision making that's why they have you guys.” Well, the fight against the Ogre boss explains why he doubts us... but at least trust us...

”That would be a joke, right? They don't even look that strong. How about a test again?” For some reason, this guy is trying to be funny but this is a serious time for us. We don't know any of them but we are already assigning them.

”Let me just tell you this, guys. We are just assigning you to teams but if we think that you don't deserve to be in our guild, you will be removed without any second chances. Do you think you can defeat one of them? How about you try it? Let me just warn you though. There will be no buffs that will deny your death and this girl here defeated a boss which most of the time needs a group of high-level players and takes hours of fighting it. This girl killed it in just a single hit by herself.” You were exaggerating again...

The guy looked at some of the players and most of them didn't believe Elou. So I think I know where this is going...

”Ok then, if you're telling the truth, how about we test her instead?” Damn it! The last time was a fluke and now I will be fighting this one.

”IGNITE CHAKRAMS!” This is bad! His weapons... I don't know what they are but they are two circle shaped blades. One is shining bright and one is covered in flames.

I pulled out my dagger which I think will never help me against this guy!

”Look at that weapon, is that really something that can defeat a Rare Boss in a single hit?” He's really underestimating my weapon. Compared to his, I don't think mine would be at an advantage.

”SILVER FLAME CHAKRAM!” He threw both his weapons combined creating a wheel of silver flame! I can see his attack. It's slow!

*SWOOOOSH!* I ducked in time evading his attack while running at full speed towards him.
