121 Enough is Enough (1/2)

-Storm Seekers City-

”I said get ready to land but I think it will be a bit hard for us to do so.” We bypassed the city gate but there's a thunderstorm ahead!

*BOOOOOOOM!* A loud thunder exploded right near us! So loud!

”How do people get used to this kind of city? Well, here we go!” We are descending from above!

We landed in a roof of a building. We landed fast but thankfully, didn't make a sound that could alert the people.

”Are you ok?”

”Yeah, thank you,” He helped me up.

”You should wear that hood I gave you earlier. It will be bad for us if they see people that are not from here.” How can they know? There are a lot of people around here. Maybe he's just playing it safe.

He jumped and then signing that he would catch me up... but it will be embarrassing!

”Hurry up! Guards are coming!” He's panicking!

So I jumped as soon as I can and didn't care if he could catch me or not but he successfully did. There were no guards though... he tricked me!

”So, how do we find this someone you were talking about earlier?”

”I'm not sure but let's go to one of their inns first to ask and get a cup of coffee. It's really cold out here.” You've been living in snowy mountains and this is making you cold?

This place is really different from the Vanguards Stronghold because houses here are really sturdy for heavy rains and to protect them from lightning. There are also water passages that lead to somewhere to avoid getting the place flooded. Not only that, because the clouds are so thick, the sun looks like a moon instead and this place is so dark making the whole city look like a really gloomy place. It's a good place for a horror film.

-Stormy Inn-

We entered one of the nearby Inn and we saw some adventurers inside. They mostly wear coats to protect them from the rain and holding wands or staves. Most of them are spellcasters. This place would be hard to conquer with lots of spellcasters who can deal massive area of effect spells but if monsters could get close to them, it will also be a one-sided war. How did I know this kind of things? It's because I love watching fantasy war-themed movies like ”Lord of the Wings.” That movie is good. They have to destroy the one wing before the overlord gets a hold of it. Enough with self-nonsense, Scy sat near the innkeeper.

”A new face, are you a traveling adventurer?” The innkeeper asked.

”Yeah, give me the best drink you've got. No alcohol please.” Wow! Maybe he has lots of money to spend.

”What a generous person. Just wait for a moment and let me get one for you.” The innkeeper excitedly said.

”Here you go! Two Light's Berry Juice, a well-known drink around the world of New Life Online.” He presented a juice with weird colors. Should I really drink something like this?
