”That's good to hear! Here's a badge of our guild. Please keep it safe.” He handed one of those badges he gave us.
After that, Scy introduced all of us to her. The guild is growing day by day. I don't want to admit but I'm having fun when I'm with them. Most of the time, we don't do anything but their craziness started to make me comfortable around them. Maybe I'm just weird like them.
It's still early like around ten am. Scy stood up.
”I guess it's my turn to find a recruit. But I have to do something first. I have to visit our friends to ask for help to build our village. This hideout is only known by those who are loyal to us.” No, I'm not...
”Let's go, Zia. Make sure you won't get left behind.” Why is it always have to be me?!
-West Forest, East of Icy Plains-
After saying goodbye with our guildmates, we headed out east through the forest. Are we supposed to go to some civilized place? Why are we taking the rough path?
And I remember that he has that booster and stuff like he used in the tournament. Why doesn't he just use it?
”Let's be quiet around here. I heard that there are a lot of elves around here and because humans, players, abducts them and make them their slaves, they started to get aggressive to humans.” Then why the hell did you bring me to this place in the first place!
”Humans would not do something like that...” I whispered. It's not even dark but I feel like there are eyes staring at me somewhere...
We traveled deep inside the forest. The more we go deep, the darker it gets... I think I should get back soon...
”Can you feel it? I can feel that there are lots of stares piercing through my soul... I feel uneasy as if I don't belong here. Do you want to get back soon?” Of course, I want to get back as soon as we can!
I turned around as he told me to because I'm getting a bad feeling about this place.
*KYAAAAAAAAAA!* I shouted with my entire throat's power! As soon as I turn around, an elf startled me who came from above! Holy crap! I panicked and lost control over my body balance and suddenly my butt hit the ground!
”What's with her? Do I really look scary?” The elf guy talked? Why does he talk so casually with Scy? Do they know each other?!
”Haha! That was a good one, Elf guy! You scared the crap out of her!” I really hate this guy! Bully!
”Ugh... So what is your business here? You should have just used the flute the leader gave you so you can just send someone if you need help.” Scy helped me get up after that prank...
”Well, I need to talk to the elf leader because this will be urgent news. I'm pretty sure you guys are not yet aware of that. As your tribe would be one of the targets.” He seemed to be looking serious. This must be really important for him.
”Is that really bad? Let's go then. Our tribe is near around here.”
The Elf guy guided us to where their tribe is.
